Customer Reviews:
For lovers of the Theatre.......2007-05-21
It calls my attention that the play was not one of the West End's blockbusters, even though it was in Italy, Mexico (in Mexico city it has been the greates theater success ever), in Buenos Aires, and in many LA capitals. The play has been replaced many times since its first staging in many of those cities, with great success again.
The music is fresh and the play's messagge is simple. God decides to send a second diluge to oblitarate the evileness on Earth. The new Noa is a catholic priest that dwells in a town "in the mountains" (any mountains in any country), with whom Gods talks by phone. The town villagers are the only ones due to be saved.
At the end there is no deluge, yet the villagers receive a lesson of frienship, charity and companioship.
The music, in italian of course, of this CD is fresh, well sung and enjoyable. I fully recomend this CD, specially if you attended to any of the presentations of the play in any country. Unfortunately I haven't been been able to find recording of this play in English (West End) or in Spanish (any LA presentation).
