It's an awesome CD, it features great vocals, and amazing arrangements, it is really a party CD, since when you play it, you can really enjoy some of the best eurodance/dance pop music there is.

I love this group! I love this cd, and the seller sent very promptly! Great service! I only gave this cd 4 stars, because the last track was fuzzy, the English Version; It came in sounding like too much bass...but other than that, I loved all the songs, and for different reasons! My favorites are Numai Tu, and of course, Dragostea Din Tei! I would recommend this cd to anyone who likes Euro-pop, and dance music! Good Cardio Workout! lol

A person would have to be either hopelessly embittered or dead to not respond to this music! I got it because I am learning the Romanian language, and the lyrics are fun, beautiful, and clear. What a great surprise when it turned out that I loved all of the songs! This music is pure joy, and you can't sit still, even if you have never danced in your life. Their voices are exquisitely beautiful, and the melodies are amazingly complex. I am a musician...play cello...and I am going to transcribe these melodies for my instrument. Everyone here in America I share this music with falls in love with it, no matter what their age or tastes...this group was perfection! I am a hard rock fan, but these guys sold me in 5 seconds.

The best of Euro Pop club music. You will not be able to sit with this music on. All I hoped for and more, I was only familiar with one song on the disc but there are no bad tracks.

This is the European release of the hugely successful Romanian sensation O-zone.
The song "Dragostea din Tei," (the first song on this CD), was released in the summer of 2003 at the MTV Music Awards in Romania. It was by far the best selling song in Romania that year, and in 2004 it crossed the borders to Italy and from there, to the rest of Europe. What followed was mass frenzy. Wherever the song got played, it topped the charts. From Madrid-Spain to Sydney-Australia and Tokyo-Japan, O-zone could be heard on the radio, either in Romanian or in various local languages. The song went straight to number 1 in Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Greece, and Cyprus, but it was popular throughout the entire Old Continent.
This is the kind of dance pop music that makes headlines in Europe. In the US, there are no real comparable acts, but if you like Kylie Minogue's style, this is very similar. Europop at its best, the three-boy band O-zone has recently made a jump into the US, being featured on the Today Show (Feb 22 2005) and currently being played on Sirius satellite radio.

Who knew Romanian music could be so catchy?.......2004-11-01

I first saw the video for Drago... whatever its called when I was on a school trip to Europe in London. Everyone in our tour had seen it on the tv and talked about it at breakfast. I mean, three possibly gay guys doing the can-can on a moving airplane? Then, we saw it on tv in every city we went to: Paris, Luzern, Linz, Salzburg, Vienna...and when one girl found this CD in a shop in Salzburg, Austria (for twenty euro!), it became our theme song. It really is one of the best songs I have ever heard, even though it sucks. The rest of the album is absolutely rockin, even though it sucks. :)

O-Zone have more than the international No.1 hit Dragostea din tei. They are the first band singing in Romanian to have international success and this album proves why. It's versatile pop-dance music with some folk elements and provides a lot of fun. The songs are all very different. All songs have been written by Dan Balan of O-Zone - it's good to see that there are still artists who compose their own music. Keep on with all the good work O-Zone!

Hottest In Cancun 2005.......2007-05-31

The rythm and beat of Dragostei Din Tei was amazing! Playing in the hottest clubs in Cancun was just another experience..Highly recomended.

Awesome CD - but go for the US Import (it's cheaper!).......2005-11-10

Disc-O-zone does not in any way fit into my collection. Tom Waits, PJ Harvey & Iggy all gave me filthy looks when I popped it into the player. However, a girl needs some fun music & this is it! Like many ppl, I bought this for "Dragostea Din Tei", but have since grown to like other tracks better (my new faves are the dance tune "Sarbatoarea Noptilor De Vara" & the ballad "Crede-ma"). To be honest, I prolly like it more b/c I have no idea what is being said; all too often (for me) great tunes are ruined by stupid lyrics, so its possible that if this were in English, I'd hate it or be too critical.

In short, the melodies are fantastic, well produced and not boring. Its brainless fun that makes you smile, and makes a slow day go by faster.

Its too bad that O-zone is no longer together, and that Dan Balan, O-zone's founder, has moved on to mainstream rock.

It's About Time!.......2005-04-16

These guys have been popular in Romania for a while now and it is absolutely FANTASTIC that the rest of the world is discovering them. They are one of the cleanest, most positive and just plain fun bands you're ever going to come across. Listen, sing along even if you dont know what you're saying. But most of all: dance. If you like Dragostea Din Tei you'll also love Despre Tine which was actually their first giant hit in Romania and won several awards from MTV Romania.

Oh... and just for those of you who were wondering: Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma (nu ma) iei means you want to leave but you wont take me.

Another Eurodance act that suffers the same disease as Eiffel 65 and Aqua : the one-hit-wonder syndrome. They have a huge hit now, but none of their other singles and/or albums will be able to live up to that success. In a very near future, when people get sick of hearing that so-catchy-and-lame-it's-good song called Dragostae din tei (which reaches the same level of ridiculousness that helped Barbie Girl and Blue (Da Ba Dee)sell millions of copies worldwide), Disco-Zone will be sold for .99$ at the flea market. And when people hear the name O-Zone, they will all wonder : "Who the heck is that, man?" Oh well. This is how the dance music industry works, so let's enjoy the playfulness of Dragostae din tei while it lasts. And if you haven't seen it yet (what, are you living under a rock???), I highly suggest you search the Web for the Numa Numa Dance video, where we can see the now-famous Gary Brolsma dancing in front of his webcam while mouthing the words to Dragostae din tei. That video, in my opinion, is reason enough to be thankful for O-Zone.

At what price songs from a trip of a lifetime?.......2005-03-11

I took a 3,243 mile driving trip through Europe last year and simply had a blast. Of the many countries, cities and nightclubs/discotechs (and uh... you know... other important places like museums and monuments and tourist traps and other stuff too), I came across quite a few songs that were played on the radio (and at clubs) that were just terrific to dance and/or drive to.

Dragostea Din tei was one of the 2 dozen songs I heard (`Trick me' was the other and some stuff from Shifty?) and after figuring out what the name of the album and the song is, we went to a record store, but I though the Euro 23+? was too much so I decided to do without it.

Now, after being back stateside for 5 months I miss the song and (more) the memory it brings back that regardless of price, I decided I had to have a copy. Its not worth $28 for the CD itself. I doubt any CD is truly ever worth that, but it did remind me of my trip, my friends, the E320CDi I rented and the girls at Titanic and Iceberg (ciao bella!!)
