Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A Burst of Beauty.......2004-10-25

Oukaranman. Wow...this CD is amazing. The lyrics are all beautiful, including the title. The translation being something like, "A Burst of Cherry Blossoms".

My fav thing about Kagrra is Isshi's amazing voice. A lot of people don't like it, though i can't imagine why. I think it's very nice, just like that other guy said, its very unique and one of the best voices in the Jrock world, though I, personally, like Gackt very much. ^^

Six tracks of great music. The first & second tracks are fairly upbeat and catchy rock tunes that never get old. Track three is darker, Isshi shows how low he can sing and the guitars give off a really creepy feeling. Also, the strange wind instrument playing at the beginning is really eerie. Track four starts slow and sad, but bursts into a loud, powerful chorus. Track five is bouncy pop-like rock that makes me want to dance. Sadly, I find track six to be lacking compared to the other songs. It's an insturmental, and nice the first time you listen to it, butm it grwos old rapidly, I'm sorry to say. However, the album is still very good and well worth your money!

5 out of 5 stars YAY.......2004-10-12

I'll make this short and sweet. Kagrra rocks. Just becuase they look like girls and enjoy prancing around in colorful kimono's and way too much makeup (oh, but Nao is oh-so pretty) that doesn't mean they dont have talent.

They DO. From upbeat rock to soft ballads to dark melodic rock, they have it all. My only lament is that amazon is too stupid to have their first full-length album, Miyako, released in march, 2004.

THis album is great. But sorry to burst your bubble, it has only 6 tracks, not nine. the first, third, and fourth tracks are my favourites, but every track is great.

And i dont understand why people dont seem to like Isshi's voice. they say it "odd" or "strange" or it "doesn't go with the music". So, what, you're telling me you LIKE listening to those whiny jrock guys like The Pillows? Isshi has an amazing voice. yes, its unique, and thats why i love it. Its very powerful and he has a lovely falsetto. Infact, he has the best voice in the whole jrock world, well...he ties with Kyo (Dir en grey) for first anyway. yes, people, better than Gackt. *dodges rotten tomatoes from rabid gackt fans...sidesteps large boulder...ow...pulls knife out of eye* Who knew gack fangirls had such good aim?

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful!.......2004-03-29

Kagrra has always been an indie band until now with their newest album "Miyako" (also fantastic) which was released in Japan early this year. Their sounds are refreshing and unique, with that usual Visual-Kei melody heard in a lot of others. They're also quite pretty to look at; beautifully adorned in lovely kimono with vibrant colors, these guys really know how to work it. If you haven't heard of them before, I highly recommend you get their stuff if you like Visual-Kei music.
