Editorial Reviews
CD is a refreshing mix of familiar Celtic tunes and new lyrics... excellent sound & precise musicianship... a worship experience
Product Description
This is the first CD in the series "Celtic Songs of Worship." The musical moods range from rollicking jigs and reels to meditative reflections, from songs in traditional sean-nos style to a choir. Many of the songs combine exquisite Irish or Scottish melodies (such as used by Robbie Burns), often hundreds of years old, with new Christian lyrics and richly evocative harmonies. Three tracks are in Gaelic. As well, two well-known hymn texts are sung to traditional Irish folksong tunes.

Awesome Celtic Christian Music!.......2001-08-27
Notwithstanding the noise outside, the music soothed my children's fears and they were soon fast asleep. As for me, I listened with great intent to every song, noting its singers/musicians, and the detailed research that went into each piece. I was delightfully transported to landscapes, seascapes & skyscapes of Eire, the Scottish Hebrides, Wales (Pembrokeshire)and of course, Holy Island. I wholeheartedly endorse these entrancing, exquisite tunes. Move over Enya & Loreena McKennitt! - Rob O'Gorman, Director...
