About the Artist
"Danish Rahi, a versatile artist gives the world a reason to dance. Danish achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design at Troy State and has been working full time while creating his music. As a child he was influenced by painting, keyboards, travel and a strong education. He was ambitious, devoted to higher learning and improving his talents in design and music. Danish was inspired by his parents, internationally respected artists and musicians like Pink Floyd, Yanni and BT. He never wanted to be just one type of person. He knew he wanted to sing when he was six years old and performed in concerts and musicals and at rotary clubs and cultural events. He also ran track and played squash but was mostly occupied by playing in cover bands like, Amadeus and The Symphony Slaves, in which he and the other members would dress up in chains and locks and play what he now calls, ""awful music,"" with fond humor. His parents were supportive of his talents when he was young and are proud still hearing his first album. Their opinions are with love but also stem from artistic eyes and true success. His father is an established artist using cubism, often painting murals and focusing on issues like the world hunger crisis. His mother is a watercolorist, also popular in Pakistan and Europe. Danish had multiple career goals and investigated record labels. Though complimented, Danish was uncomfortable with the business side of Pakistan's record labels and craved more freedom, wanting more control over the production of his music. He was conflicted when faced with the reality of what had been his home for almost two decades. Should he try to revolutionize the music industry or continue his education overseas and satisfy more goals regarding his education, career and life style? He chose America, curious to see the States for the first time and settled in Alabama for four years on a scholarship. He continued to write songs as a student, convinced working with software and indulging in the design industry would inspire his music. He feels the texture of music and its environmental balance coincides with design. He is an activist and supporter of all sectors of art, completely put off by materialism. Shortly after graduating, he moved to New Jersey and started working as a graphic artist for a pharmaceutical company while finishing a compilation of songs. Close to New York, he joined the world of struggling artists trying to promote his music. He teamed up with NY Producer, Frank Certo of Frankensound Studios and Ron Haney and Bart Schoudel of The Churchills, to record his first song, Downtown Exit. Two years later, his first album, Fiza-The Evolution, is being promoted internationally by Corporate Greed and production company, Soularis. With ten, smooth songs sung in Urdu/Punjabi/English, this album is diverse, directing the listener on a journey using rock, dance and eastern classical elements. Fiza translated as ""The Atmosphere"" is a symbol of experimental music created with imagination, heart and hard work. Danish also has designed all the graphics for his videos, album cover and promotional material while directing and editing, Chalo Mere Saath, airing on MTV ! Asia. Danish created an international success with the musical freedom and overall artistic creativity he strived for. Danish Rahi takes pride in the things in life that really matter. His album has a message, encouraging all to believe in love and stay together. With mixing and a sweet chorus, ""Chalo Mere Saath/Walk with me, lets spend a lifetime together,"" is a catchy dance song with an entertaining video to match. This song is about two people in a relationship, who are deciding whether or not they should go there separate ways or try to sustain their relationship. The video adds mystery to their story comparing the relationship to a computer. At the end of the video, the computer crashes with it unknown if it restarts. Like this son

Fiza-The Evolution, is a must-have addition to any album collection. This album is unique and cultured with a blend of dance, pop, rock and ragas of east. It is light-hearted and uplifting. The sounds are sweet to the ear sung mostly in Urdu, the language of Pakistan. Other songs contain English back up vocals and rap sections leading to a smooth sound with romantic lyrics. It is thematic, as if on a journey towards discovering feelings, admitting them and experiencing relationships. The songs are touching and for those who cannot translate the words, the instrumentation alone is revealing and the sound moving. If you love to dance, this is the album for you. Fiza is a versatile source for club music since provocative with high energy. All of the songs like Chulo Mere Saath, Downtown Exit and Generation NXT, with their affectionate lyrics, mixing of instruments and south eastern sounds create songs for those who want to dance fast or slow. This is Danish Rahi's debut international album with more to follow. Fiza translates as, "The Atmosphere," which is perfectly symbolic since it reaches for many cultures around the world. It directs the listener towards rock, dance and eastern classical elements. It is experimental, artistic and meaningful, while entertaining and easy to listen to. Fiza, already has a fan base in Asia. Channels like IM and MTV Asia broadcasts to over 50 countries and the story line and visual effects of Chalo Mere Saath, have resulted in quite a popular music video. It is a pop/dance song singing, "walk with me and lets spend a lifetime together." The sound quality, mixing and story line have created a commercial success! It is sultry, modern and about a relationship we have all been in before, with two lovers trying to decide whether they should work through their relationship or separate and live without each other. Massoom, meaning "innocent" is another tender love song with high quality mixing and fantastic cultured lyrics combining Urdu and French. This album truly is for anyone who appreciates quality music. Combining live instrumentation and computerized mixing, Fiza represents both the eastern and western world. This album sings to everyone to love and moves everyone to dance. If you have ever been a lover or a fighter you will like the lyrics, if you need a reason to dance, Fiza will bounce up the party. Danish Rahi has created an honorable album like no other. Using the beauty of language, culture and a universal theme of love, Fiza-The Evolution is for all people to enjoy around the world!`
