With the White Iron Band's ties to the northwoods of the bwca,and the workingmans Blue collar style "drink it up" attitude provides for a boot stompin,rebel rousin good time. Great stuff.

I purchased this CD for the sole reason that the band has connections to Ely, Minnesota, the gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Little did I know that this CD would become one of my favorites. Combining an alt-country sound reminiscent of the Supersuckers on some tracks with a Delbert McLinton blues feel on others, there is not a bad song on this album.
