jim reeves could sing gospel songs as good as he could sing country songs. his smooth velvet voice brought millions of new fans around the world to country music. jim had the most beautiful voice god ever gave to a human being and when you listen to this c.d. i feel confident you wil feel the same way

I have not listened to every song on this CD, but it looks to be well worth it, whatever the price because of the Title Track..."Whispering Hope". That is probably the most inspirational song I have ever heard. Jim Reeves sang it really well. In my opinion you should buy this CD. I'm going to.

I would like to review more than the songs offered. One song in particular that I am interested in is Whispering Hope. Unfortunetly, I am unable to listen to it to see if it's the one I want. Am I doing something wrong? I don't want to purchase a whole CD unless I can view or listen to the WHOLE thing or at least more selection than 4 songs. Thanks.
P.S. Anything by the Gaither's is great, I would just like to be able to listen to that song.

This One Will Be A Classic!.......2000-11-27

Bill Gaither & Company paid a visit to Ireland and the result was 2 releases on Video and CD and cassette. One is called "Irish Homecoming" and this one, "Whispering Hope". What a flow this concert event has! From top to bottom, you will be blessed! When Cythia Clawson takes the stage with "Hear The Voice Of My Beloved", I defy anyone to say they didn't feel anything! If you are a "Homecoming Collector" as I am, don't leave this out of your collection!

The autoboigraphy of Sheila MacRae shows without a doubt the respect Gordon MacRae had for Jo Stafford, and solo recordings she shared with him in this duet album. Gordon MacRae
also includes the song from "Carousel" (You'll Never Walk Alone) Unfortunately, another Capitol/EMI blunder since this should have been reissued years ago!
