Hidden diamond midst chunks of coal!.......2006-12-08

When this album was released, I was Program/Music Director at a country radio station in Peoria, Illinois.. and had the honor of playing "Daddy On The Radio", "Planet Texas", and "Ten Gallon Dreams" on the radio.. John Andrew Parks is a multi talented singer, songwriter, and storyteller, who was signed on Capitol at the same time as Garth Brooks.. and unfortunately, everyone on the label was pretty much kicked to the curb, while all attention was focused on Garth.. (Not saying that Garth is bad, his record speaks for itself), I'm just saying that John is an incredible talent that must not be overlooked. I definately recommend this album, and also that you visit his website, and listen to his current music from "Stargazer".. John has a unique ability to tell a great story within a song, and this album is chock full of great story-songs..

How am I the only person that has ever heard this? This is a great CD Just listen.
