About the Artist
"You HAVE to hear this!" is what everyone is saying about the Tucson based phenomenon Pammy K. After hearing the power and quality in her vocals, amazement becomes shock when they learn she's only 11....that's ELEVEN. Her style blends soulful embellishment with angelic harmony to create a fresh new sound. Pammy K's natural instinct, intuition, and a background in musical theater produces a winning combination for studio recording and live performances.

Although only 11, this is experience showing as Pammy K displays her life and talents. Singing since the age of 2, she learned early how to open hearts with a song. Years of professional training and hundreds of performances with groups Kids Unlimited and Sunshine Generation have taught her adaptability as well as how to mesmerize an audience. Singing the National Anthem at large sporting events and numerous solo performances at statewide fairs and festivals has given Pammy K the confidence and comfort needed to perform for large crowds. Her loyal following makes their presence known at her shows and the excitement creates a vibe of pure enthusiasm.

Dang KATW were a powerhouse pop group! Rockin' & rollickin'. And Katrina Leskanich's voice was a marvel -- galeforce and gorgeous. This great collection is a real bargain. So many wonderful songs beyond the obvious monster hit. "Do You Want Crying," "That's The Way" and "Is That It?" are personal favorites. My only complaint (sorry!) is the omission of Vince de la Cruz's beautiful "Sleep On My Pillow," one of the all-time great lost rock ballads. The lyrics, melody and Katrina's vocal practically drip with dignity and heartbreak. Makes me WEEP on my pillow!

From the time i peeled off the celophane to my sock-footed dance through the apartment as I listened to Katarina walk on sunshine for the second time, this album, trough and through, makes me wet as manilla in the monsoon season. The earthy tones and guttural feel provide an intensity not felt since the J.Giels Band laid down their epic track "Centerfold." Comparisons begin with Lakeside and end with the Pretenders!

most of us only know Katrina for the hit "Walking on Sunshine" but the numerous tracks on this greatest hits set are just as catchy and uplifting. Katrina knows how to rock out and have fun. "Sun Street" is reminiscent of the Beatles and "That's the Way" makes you want to jump up and start clapping and shaking your fist in the air. They do a superior version of "Going Down to Liverpool" which was written by a member of the Waves and was later covered by the Bangles. One listen and you will be hooked. It's a fun CD!

WOW I WATIED FOR THIS CD 2 B AVALIBAL ON AMAZON AND I FINALLY FOUND IT FOR 4.40 THE BEST MIX'S BY FAR ARE MARK'S HARDER MIX AND ALL THE TWO DOORS DOWN MIXES SOME MIXES OF PEACE TRAIN ARE NOT VERY GOOD BOUNCE EURO IS VERY HARD 2 LIKE AND I DON'T LIKE THE MIDDLE PART OF THE ARENA MIX IT IT 2 SLOW FOR A REMIX AND HOLY ROLLER IS TOO CHURCHY FOR ME AND SOUNDS LIKE C AND C MUSIC FACTORY OVERALL DOLLY IS BY FAR THE BEST CROSSOVER DIVA EVER

Why not Dolly?.......2004-06-24

Some artists can pull off moving from one style to another & sound as fresh as ever. Think Cher for a good example of this chameleon range, but "Dolly Does Dance"? You bet your groove thang she can. The mixes overall are supurb--a few weak spots in "Two Doors Down" but one or two flaws does not kill a whole album. Dolly shows that she can bring down the whole handbag house with the best Divas. Give her Kudos--i'm sure she had a say in it and if it brought a newer audience to her music past/present I say brava! Just a few examples of others Country Girls who have "crossed to the beat":

1)Tammy Wynette/KLF "Justified & Ancient"(and even appearred in the video) Best lyric sung by her in the track "They call me up in Tennessee, They say Tammy Stand By The Jams!" (Bring the beat back!)

2)Rheba MacEntire had Love To Infinity remix "You Keep Me Hangin' On" for a single release as did Faith Hill for "The Way You Love Me".

3)Le Anne Rimes is issuing dance mix singles constantly.

4) A group called "Fizz" used Crystal Gayle for some pure striking ambient music on "Only When I Dream".

5)Not to forget Shania Twain's dance mixes for "Don't Be Stupid" or "That Don't Impress Me Much".

These releases are a breath of fresh air, a jolt in the ear (is THAT who I think it is singing?) and a pure delight. Dolly is talented & timeless (Check out her duet on the Culture Club Cd Single "Your Kisses Are Charity" Blue Cover----)

This CD proves she's got the talent & can give a bit of 'boogie fever' in the process. After all, Dolly IMHO technically did the first country/pop blend song w/"9-5" years before Shania had "From This Moment On." I am a HUGE Shania Twain fan BTW

Dolly Please More Remixes!.......2004-01-29

When I first got this cd I was very suprised I mean Dolly Parton.Is know for her country roots and a little pop but what ever she does it is perfect.I only got this cd because of The Boy Wunder remix of Two Doors Down I mean this remix makes you want to get your ass up and dance.Than you got the Peace Train remix which is remixed by Junior Vasquez and that to is a good remix but it is very long 13:41.There are some more remixes on this cd.So if you are thinking about buying this cd take my word and buy it.

Dolly Dolly Has Now Fallen Off Her Trolley!.......2003-03-09

Not too sure about this one. After purchasing a lot of Dolly's c.d.'s over the years i have been waiting for a remix album to be done. If you purchased the single 'Peace Train', don't expect this c.d. to sound the same. I found this c.d. to be difficult to listen to, the mixes of 'Two Doors Down', what on earth is that!! Be aware that most of these tracks are not easy on the ear, and most tracks have been severly altered heading really i think across the border into techno/trance land. Call me old fashioned but if the same formula was used using the club mix of 'Peace Train' as an example, I think a better result would have occured.

Not a single bad songs on this cd.......2000-07-30

If I remember correctly, none of the songs from this CD hit No. 1 spot on Billboard charts (all are Top 40 hits though), but every single songs from this CD are excellent. My personal favorite is Invincible by Pat Benatar. If you want to remember the mid 80s this is the cd for you. Get this and if you can get the complete collection from 1980-1989 for true 80s hits. Excellent !

Pammy K (Krystine) was in my chorus class last year. She really has a great, soulful voice. She's a pretty good academic student too, considering that she is a part-time professional singer. Way to go, Krystine!

Too bad reviews like the below are allowed to slip by. This person knows Pammy K and most likely is jealous of her success. For a self produced CD by an 11 year old kid..it's pretty good. I'm sure we haven't heard the last from this little wonder.

This is a really good song. Pam has a good voice and the pictures in the cd are very cute. I like this cd very much everyone should buy one so we can get her to number 1 and have someone famous from tucson.

It's hard to beleive that the vocals on this CD are from an 11 year old girl!! There is an innocent quality but it's obvious that she is well trained. The songs are fresh and easy to listen to over and over.
