ANOTHER STRAIT WINNER.......2005-01-01

While this is not one of George's better CDs, there are several songs to recommend from it: "80 Proof Bottle Of Tear Stopper", "Lets Fall To Pieces Together", and "Everytime It Rains (Lord Don't It Pour)". The latter song you cannot get on "Strait Out Of The Box". It has the dubious distinction of having a RARE GS song I do not like: "You Look So Good In Love". Now it is fair to say, a weak GS song, is better then anyone else's weak material (Even Led Zeppelin, Sherrie Austin, and Toby Keith). But, I just don't care for it in the least. That one song, makes me deduct a star, but if it was ANYONE ELSE but George, it would be 5/5.

Nothing wrong with this one. George Strait comes through again with songs like "You Look So Good in Love", "Every Time It Rains" and "Let's Fall to Pieces Together."  

He's not the King of Country for nothin'. Here's hoping that he has many more in him.

The thing I like about George Strait and his music is that, the more he changes, the more he stays the same. Whether you listen to his newest album, Honkytonkville, or Right or Wrong you're in for classic country music from first to last. With tracks like YOU LOOK SO GOOD IN LOVE, LET'S FALL TO PIECES TOGETHER and OUR PATHS MAY NEVER CROSS, Right or Wrong is an essential part of the George Strait collection and it sounds as good today as it did at release twenty years ago.

There is good reason that Strait is often referred to as "The King of Country." The reign just keeps going.

Real Stuff, Real Country.......2002-02-23

Just great stuff! The drums are perfect, the fiddle is very prominent, the steel is awesome, you can the acoustic guitar, and then George Strait sings. He has perfect control. As if with this great honky-tonkin' stuff you'd even care if he had a great voice! With classic songs like 80 Proof Bottle of TearStopper (my favortie) and "I'm Satisfied with You" (Bob Wills) this is one Strait album you shouldn't miss!

Right or Wrong is a classic.......2001-01-03

The 3rd of George Straits albums this is part of his classic music. Right or Wrong has many great songs this a classic job done. Again the reason to buy this album is not really for the hits because you can hear those on his greatest hit albums. The main attraction songs maybe 80 proof bottle of tearstopper, Our paths may never cross, and one of the best songs on the whole album maybe track 10 Fifteen years going up one night coming down, every song is listenable and its not boring at all. It has a very distinct sound like Our paths may never cross is a well written song. Unlike George Straits second album Strait from the heart which is also a great classic. I think Right or Wrong has more distinctness to it.

By far the best.......2007-06-11

When the Seven Year Ache collection came out many years ago, I bought it as an LP. Liked it so much and tried for a long time to find it in a more updated form. Finally found it in this format on Amazon and am very pleased as it has always been one of my favorites. I am not a country western fan by any means, but these songs are great and Rosanne Cash has a fantastic voice. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

These 2 are as timeless and wonderful as they were back in the early 1980's. Is you want some amazing music from a wonderfully talented musician and singer, this won't dissapoint you!

Stealers Wheel- Right or Wrong.......2007-01-09

1970's classic rock- great melodies and harmonies. Opening song "Benediction" is one of my all time favorites.

The best of the three.......2005-03-28

I just ordered this CD this morning, so I'm not reviewing the CD so much as I am the album itself.This was the third and last Stealers Wheel album, and in my opinion, the best of the three.
By this time the hit singles had dried up and the group was on the verge of splitting, but they somehow gathered enough good will and energy to produce a wonderful album.If you are Catholic, and easily offended, don't listen to Benediction. It's not flattering in the least. But the next song, "Found my way to you" is as upbeat and positive a love song as you could ask for.
All in all, this is a great album and I am so glad it's finally on CD. My vinyl album is still in good shape, but my record player died long ago. Buy the other two albums, "Stealers Wheel", and "Ferguslie Park", and revel in the pure joy that was Stealers Wheel!!

Wanda Jackson: struggling singer to Nashville star.......2003-05-14

If you really want to go all-out on a Wanda Jackson binge, then this monolithic Bear Family box set would be the place to start. This 4-CD set starts off with some of Jackson's earliest (and least well-known) country recordings, made as early as 1954, well before her rockabilly heyday, then moves on to collect all her best rock'n'roll numbers (whew!!), before dipping into the Nashville-styled country groove that she settled into after the rockabilly craze died down. The early tracks are a real revelation, since Wanda's '60s Nashville work was much more sedate and ballad-oriented; it's pretty cool to hear just how rural and hard country she really was.

This album combines the great voice of Roseanne, with exceptionally talented musicians. Although the upbeat songs are worth purchasing the album for, my favorites are the slow songs that make the album unique. This album is one of the finest in my collection. Roseanne has the ability to touch the deepest, sometimes painful emotions. Buy this cd!
