5 out of 5 stars as good as it gets.......2004-08-04

How many CD's are there where every song is great? Well, Scott and Dennis Forbes have created one. Their lyrics and music are poignant and melodic combining country, rock and blues into songs that will stay with you long after the CD has ended. This one is a must have!

5 out of 5 stars Great Original tunes.......2003-12-11

"...pleasing enthusiastic hometown crowds with a mix of country and country-rock since 1990, they've shared stages with everyone from Lonestar to George Jones, and the songwriting on their new album rivals -- even surpasses -- much of what's coming out of mainstream Nashville nowadays..." Greg Crawford - Detroit Free Press 11/30/03

5 out of 5 stars Hippin Hoppin Country Rockin.......2003-10-17

If you think Detroit makes stars like Bob Segar, MC5, Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, and Eminem check again cause the Forbes Brothers are about to be added to the list of Motor City Madness. Hip and Hop it and country rock it and order this CD right now you won't regret it.

5 out of 5 stars Country Creativity with a Detroit Attitude.......2003-10-15

The Forbes Brothers weave smart lyrics with suberb musicianship to reveal the country in everyone. They blend various Detroit and Nashville influences into a fresh sound. In "Hip Hop, Country Rock" they capture the dichotomy of being "a country band from Michigan." In "The Difference", they create an anthem to our country's veterans. "Maybe Just Once", "Tell Me", and the ironic "The Wrong End of the Bar" use traditional country themes of love gone wrong. Both rockers and country fans will enjoy the variety and driving beat of this CD.

5 out of 5 stars Rockin' Country From the Motor City.......2003-10-04

Saw these guys last summer and loved them. I tried to get the CD then but they were just finishing it so it wasn't available yet. When I finally did get it, I was amazed!. They sound like a combination of country, rock, and soul. The harmonies are real tight and the music's great. I'll be playing this CD till I wear it out.
