Ralph Stanley II has some big shoes to fill: his father is one of the most respected and accomplished musicians in bluegrass, and his uncle, Carter, was the lead-vocal counterpoint to the elder Ralph's mountain tenor in the legendary Stanley Brothers. Ralph II is a very fine young man, Bluegrass all the way.......1999-03-26

Ive been to several festivals in the area, where Ralph and his dad have played. Ralph II has come to our campsite and played music with us. He sang Mary Mary Christmas long before he recorded it . He is a very respectful man, well mannered, and loves music. I think the CD is great and will probobly see you this summer Ralph.
