While not as well known as Merle and Buck, Wynn Steward is one of the unsung heroes of the California country sound. Most of the tracks feature great fiddle and steel pedal playing. If you like driving, non-Nashville, real deal old-school honky-tonk, you will love this record. Great liner notes too.
