Exceptional sound quality; a clean, digital sound with an analog feel. Excellent song quality from the first selection to the last, many written by well-known songwriters including Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Paul Williams, John Sebastian, among others. Well worth the Japanese import price!

Not quite as advertised........2006-07-01

I originally purchased this set under the assumption that it was a CD copy of the album set of the same name produced by Reader's Digest in the seventies. However, upon receipt I discovered that it was in fact produced by Guideposts Music, although it may have distributed by Reader's Digest at some point. I was disappointed, but upon listening to the set I found it to be a good set overall, although I wasn't too keen on some of the contemporary Christian tunes on the third disc. If you like hymns and gospel tunes then I would recommend this set.
