About the Artist
Tony Denikos, the Roots Rock’n, Country Blues’n, Power Folk’n, performing songwriter has been writing and recording some of the most refreshingly "down home" and "radio friendly" music, since the likes of the legendary groups "The Band" and "Credence Clearwater Revival". Tony uses back beat rhythms to propel irresistibly contagious melodies and lyrical lanscapes, ensnaring anyone with a love of great, great songwriting as a fan for life!

Tony was born and raised in the Baltimore / Washington region where he still resides today. A wide range of musical influences were instilled in Tony as a youth. The songs of Ray Charles, Harry Belafonte, Rodger Miller and ...the Beatles, filled his young ears and continue to mold his own writing today. Tony has just completed his second recording "Time Tells Tales". This compilation of twelve masterfully crafted and distinctive tunes explore the entire spectrum of americana music. Stylistically the album reflects influences from John Fogerty, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Waylon Jennings and Steve Earle revealing Tony’s earthy and unique musical voice throughout.
