5 out of 5 stars Remember San Felipe.......2003-10-07

It's not often I come across a story that makes me laugh, dance and cry all at once. Songwriter Joel Melton & producer Tom Maxwell have accomplished that here with John Bricker's Journey (1791-1836), a story from Maxwell's family attic.
* If you like a great campfire story of the wild, wild West, listen to John Bricker.
* If you like an old-fashioned morality tale of the value of hard-work, initiative, and standing up for what's right and good in this life, listen to John Bricker.
* If you just like good acoustic music, listen to John Bricker.

It's the soundtrack of Life.

Wow... was I surprised by this album....

The sincerity of this artist is certainly displayed in his songs and great acoustic guitar work as well.

I loved the historical component to this CD. It was a joy to listen to. I wanna hear this guy in person.. I can't get enough of his music.

I really enjoyed the songs. It is hard to pick my favorite one, but did like the one about the Brazos River. Yep that is the one I listen to the most.
