Album Description

With the release of his 12th solo album, "Confidentially", Frizzell reasserts the vocal stature that has earned him a lengthy string of radio hits, dozens of awards and prominence on concert stages around the world. The new collection contains Frizzell's recently recorded duet with Bobby Bare, "Cowboy Hats". Produced by Frizzell and released on his own Nashville American Records label, "Confidentially" features guest performances by Jimmy Fortune (of the Statler Brothers), John Cowan (New Grass Revival) and his first male/female duet in more than 10 years, the self-penned "Why Wasn't It Me". Joining him in this vocal pairing is the supremeyly talented Amy Clawson. The albums holds a particular treat for long-time Frizzell fans - a previously unreleased duet with Shelly West. This package contains a Bonus DVD which inclues interviews, a phot gallery, studio clips from the recording session and live perfomances featuring duets with Shelly West and Bobby Bare.

Absolutely awesome CD! I have everything I can find that David Frizzell has done. Wish there were more CD's available. His bother Lefty was one of my favorites when I was young, and David should never have to take a back seat to him. He has a wonderful, rich voice with that Frizzell sound. I'd recommend this CD to anyone who likes great traditional country music.

I won this cd in a sweepstakes. I had never heard of David Frizzell. I listened to the whole cd and I loved most every song on the cd. That is rare. I suggest this cd to all country music lovers and everyone else.
