Product Description:
Elder statesman of Country and Bluegrass Mac Wiseman, has been involved in music since the early 1940’s. He has recorded with Bill Monroe, Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs and the Osborne Brothers.

And in the mid-1950’s he began carving out a solo career which took him to the top of the Country Singles charts as well as establishing him as a mainstay at Bluegrass festivals internationally.

Music Mill Entertainment is proud to announce that we have contracted with Mac Wiseman Enterprises/Wise Records to nationally distribute nine Mac Wiseman titles. Until now, these titles have been available only in a limited capacity.

My mother-n-law really enjoyed this cd. She enjoyed it so much that she asked me to order it on DVD for her so she could see the artists singing. She also requested that I order Chicago Sings: Back to Church DVD.

In 1961 Mahalia Jackson was in top form. She was so popular that she had her own TV show. This recording has taken 17 of those inspirational songs, remastered them and combined them in this package with a DVD that shows her performing those songs. It's quite inspiring and entertainment and a good value.
