Being from a musical background myself, I recognize talent in voice, composition, originality and style. I guess getting beyond all of the technical jargon, this music touched me on a more personal level. It is nice to see someone from my state of New Mexico aspire to greatness. The album for a first has a flavor all of its own. Rex has a talent that combines more than just one style of music. He has a way of reaching inside you and getting you to listen, to relax, to cry, to laugh, or just be. I guess he is an enigma in a sense, because he seems to accomplish all of the wonderful multitudes of an accomplished artist. If you want an album you won't forget buy this one. If you want to really be touched by originality and love to hear more than one style of music, Rex is a master who performs well, whether it be country, pop, rock, or spiritual, actually any style of music he performs exceptionally well. A difficult task for most. Rex is also recognized by the NMMIA as an original talent. So, don't take my word for it the New Mexico Music Awards say it too! Buy it today, you won't regret it!
