Spirited and Spunky Live Set.......2004-05-26

"Another Round---Live" captures a spirited set by Stewart & Winfield (the ampersand is part of the name) that covers songs from all of their studio albums. There is plenty to like here for any fan of country rock, southern rock, or even just good harmonies.

The band uses this live set to stretch out a bit, lengthening the songs and playing with quite a bit of spunk. Stewart and Winfield craft a comfortable web of sound strumming their acoustic guitars and singing up a storm.

I don't like to do play by play accounts of the songs, but I would call out Head and Heart a real rocker that lets everyone in the band gets his chance to be front and center and We're in Trouble Now which features a great "conversation" between Jason Fuller's electric piano and Nick Worley's electric guitar.

Throw this one in the CD player and head out for the back roads for an aimless drive or to the backyard for horseshoes and cold beers.

Bringing live music home..........2002-10-10

Stewart and Winfield made the right choice here...finally, the best band around has made a CD so that you can experience all they have to offer whenever you need a little dose. No more having to wait around until the next time Stewart and WInfield come into town, now I can listen to them perform my favorite songs live whenever I want. This CD is a must have if you are intrested in Stewart and Winfield and a wonderful addition if you already collect the sounds of the band. I listen to it over and over.

Southern Spoonfull of Greatness.......2001-12-06

Finally a "live recording" from the best touring band in the South. Stewart and Winfield are by far the most talented songwriters of today with roots of Gram Parsons/ TheRollingStones(Exile Years), Willie Nelson and Family. They know how to "rip it up"!!!! Much like a Southern Sunday dinner Stewart and Winfield will wear you out but force you to ask for seconds and thirds, I'm talkin Darn Good!!! A must buy like the rest of their music, by the way can you pass the collards...........
