Great Songs.......2005-09-21

Another CD of Eddy Arnold in his prime. He could sing anything, and his delivery of the lyrics make this CD a pure joy. He's just fun to listen to. At his best, Eddy could sing anything and make you enjoy it. A very enjoyable CD.

Terrific collection!.......2002-12-09

Featuring some of his lost performances for RCA(available only on dusty old records at your local vinyl shop), Eddy Arnold can be heard here in pure, crooning late-'60's form. I always enjoyed his early work, with his endearing hillbilly twang, but these later performances show him mellowing with grace and YET taking on some of the latter-day country/pop songs with which he was entirely comfortable. Don't let this one pass you by.

The Roots of Country & Hillbilly.......2006-02-17

This 2 CD collection was introduced in the early 90s by the "Beautiful Music Company". It features the great music of Americana Music History, from the Twenties roots to the mid Fifties. It has been out of print for nearly 10 years.
As a country Music Radio Dee-Jay, I find it to be an excellant way to get the music of the era into your library. Gene Autry's song, Back in the Saddle Again, I use as my theme song. It was Gene's theme on his Melody Ranch Program from the 30s-40s.
I Highly reccommend this 50 song album for your music library
