"Honey Pig" might remind one of Christmas dinner, and like the long lines at the stores, I'd cue for this sweet suite. At once, Honey pig teases the Nashville sound ethic while defying Nashville's stifling sameness. This is fun and the fun rubs off. There's pathos too, real and honest, but the CD never becomes indulgent, condescending or numbingly cliché, proving there's still plenty of original thinking around and fresh sounds to deliver them compellingly to the listener.

Honey Pig is great music. Warm, funny, romantic, catchy. One of my favorites is the simple and sweet "So my man." These ladies pull together some beautiful harmonies that stick with you. I find myself still humming their tunes hours after the cd is over.
