Doesn't seem like they should have much to be ashamed of........2005-01-12
2. Manifestations of Irrational Thought (8/10) Good song about an old friend.
3. Define Destiny (10/10) Probably the most known track on the CD, it never gets old though. Nice intro and ska feel in this song.
4. The Night (7/10) Another good song. I'm not too crazy about the guitar riff changes in this song though.
5. Divided (10/10) Best song on the whole CD. I was drawn to this track because it reminds me of myslef and the melody is awesome. It's fun to clap on the second pause too :-)
6. S.T.D (9/10) The bass and guitar on this song are really sweet. It's about sleeping with a girl and finding out she has an S.T.D and about how she has sex with men because she's insecure.
7. The End (10/10) A bit slower @ the beginning, but I love this song.
8. Room 104 (3/10) I don't like this song. I always skip it.
9. Casualty (7/10) This song's...okay. I can't listen to it all the time though.
10. Soak It Up (8/10) Great song about someone who became a snob.
11. Roofies (10/10) Ha, funny title, but the song's good. I like it cause it's fast. The solo will have you playing air-guitar, too...trust me.
12. Kill the Klan (3/10) I don't like this song either. I don't think the music and the words flow together the right way.
13. El Lemon Tree (7/10) A song about the loss of innocence. I like it because of the lyrics and the bass at the beginning.
14. Sit Back (7/10) Another fast song. Has a hint more of metal to it than the rest of the songs if you ask me.
15. Bird's Eye View (7/10) I love the part that goes "Now stay away." Decent lyrics, but nothing special.

WHO'S GOT THE LAST LAUGH NOW?.......2006-04-16
Scooter has created some absolutely amazing albums in the past, all way ahead of their time like "Wicked!", "The Age of Love" and "Back to the Heavyweight Jam". Since Jay Frog joined the band to replace Axel Coon in 2002, the band has lost its touch. Yes, obviously somehow, with Jay Frog they created one of their best albums ever, "The Stadium Techno Experience", but it's only gone downhill from there. The only good song since that album has been One (Always Hardcore). This album seems to be geared more towards commercialism, plagiarizing A LOT from bad pop songs. There is little creativity in this album compared to others.
LIGHTS OUT: This is a total rip-off of Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project. It's just an electronic version with a woman singing notes.
HELLO! (GOOD TO BE BACK): This is the only good song on the album. This is a rip-off of the Gary Glitter song with an interesting techno melody in the middle. It's a good pump-up song. But seriously, it's the only good song on the album.
PRIVELEGED TO WITNESS: Remember "Walking on the Moon" by The Police? Yes, you guessed it: they use a high-pitched vocal to copy the exact same melody and lyrics for this song, with some daft lyrics MC'd by frontman H.P. Baxxter.
ROCK BOTTOM: This song is stolen from one of Scooter's own songs, Maria. It employs the "dub-dub" technique, except much more boring. No excitement in this song.
THE LEADING HORSE: The Leading Horse is taken from two pop songs. The rhythm is based off of a 50 Cent song, while the high-pitched vocals melody is based off of The Four Horsemen by Axxis. It's a rap song, basically. Not even techno. Dreadful.
TAKE ME BABY: This song is so stupid I can't believe that Scooter would stoop to this level. The lyrics are extremely sappy and pop-song-esque. Not to mention that it's just plain boring. Maybe the bit in the middle is OK but the refrain is sung really badly by H.P.
APACHE: Gee, I wonder where this song is from! How about "Apache" by The Ventures? This is an instrumental song that copies and pastes the guitar riffs from the original song into the Scooter song.
SEE ME, FEEL ME: So, this song starts out with the high-pitched vocals by saying "See me feel hear me love me touch me". That should tell you something immediately. The B-section of this song is somewhat decent, but that's all that there is worth listening to.
UNITY WITHOUT WORDS, PT. 3: The percussion opening of this song is way too long. This trance song, unlike many of their others is just way too repetitive. Unlike "Level One", "Rhapsody in E", or "R U :-)?" this song just lacks the creativity that others didn't.
EVERLASTING LOVE: This song is lifted from the 1987 "Everlasting Love" by Sandra. There is a second-hand of a clock ticking throughout a lot of the song, which is kind of odd. However, the piano heard on the original song is just like the original song, and once again, we have the high-pitched vocals singing the same cheesy lyrics as the original as well.
SEVEN BRIDGES: Once again, we have silly lyrics by H.P. Baxxter again, with a repetitive bass. This song has piano interludes that sound like they're from some bad pop song, with the fake crowd singing along "la-la" style in the background.
MESMERIZED: This song isn't too bad; it has a nice melody, but it just takes a long time to get there and requires a lot of patience by the listener. It has an odd sort of electro-jazz-fusion-techno bit in the middle, with some electronic female voice repeating something incomprehensible.
Perhaps this review is a bit cynical, but the truth is that with the exception of "Hello!" this album is NOT worth your money. More than half of the songs are rip-offs of other songs not by Scooter. I really hope Scooter doesn't continue to go downhill. Maybe it is the addition of Jay Frog - who knows? It could also be that they're just finished creating good songs. It would be a shame to see such talent go to waste.

The best CD this year!.......2006-07-19
Excellent sophomore release from one of Sub Noize`s finest bands.......2006-05-12
A gateway drug.......2006-03-03
"It was so raw, man. This wasn't what I was used to hearing on the radio or from my friends' CD collections. There was an intensity that felt so genuine despite the simplistic nature of the actual music. It showed me that production values don't make music good-the attitude does. Their talent lied within their ability to make rough music that made me want to get up and kick a kitten!"
Last Laugh, one of Corporate Punishment's latest signings, embodies that crazy, raw punk spirit-and wears their influences proudly on their sleeves. It's a given that No Regrets isn't going to revolutionize any punk sub-genre or bring about a punk resurgence, but what it does do is show that there are still bands in today's punk arena that know where modern melodic punk's roots lie.
It won't be hard for listeners to pick out the parts of the songs that sound like NOFX, Pennywise, early MxPx & Offspring, or AFI. Not all of Last Laugh's songs are simply throwbacks to the 80's and 90's, however. There are some uses of modern punk song structures and vocal harmonization, even if they are not totally noticeable at first and don't have predominant parts to many of the songs. "Overboard", for example, shows some of the modernity of punk styles Last Laugh exude by making astute use of a piano intro, harmonized choruses, and a drum heavy bridge.
One thing that deserves a little note about this album is Last Laugh's cover of The Rolling Stones' "Paint it Black". Cover songs usually bring on a shudder since most bands don't understand how to properly do a cover or there is such little variation from the original song that including it on an album seems quite superfluous. Last Laugh avoids these pitfalls and turns in a stellar, yet gritty, version that doesn't feel out of place on the album and doesn't lose any of the Stones' genius musicianship.
Last Laugh, with No Regrets, possesses an album that stands among some of the classics of yesteryear. Standing among them, however, you may be hard pressed to choose this release over some of the classics, but for the younger punk listener, this CD is exactly what they need to open their ears to all of the greatness that has come before what makes up the punk crowd of today. This CD could be their gateway to past gems.
