Authentic kick-ass country.......2005-10-23

If you're reading this, you just hit the motherload in terms of finding a new, and amazingly enough, unknown supergroup. Fortytwenty play a country brand of music that isn't heard anymore. They're honest, funny, and true to their roots. Led by "Cowboy" Dave Wilson, these boys rip the polish of country music, and put out some the best "character" music you're likely to hear anywhere. Their debut is excellent too. They're on a label called "Slackjaw Records" (which should tell you something), and along with labelmates the Outlaw Family Band, these dudes are certainly worth watching out for. Do not miss out on this!
