My spouse Patricia and I love this beautiful double album by the legendary Jim Reeves.It sparkles with the velvety sentiments of a lover's heart and the superb collection of songs particularly in the scintillating album"The Intimate Jim Reeves "is exceedingly touching.

We love the timeless renditions of Juanita, Anna Marie, Ramona and Goodnight Irene in " Girls I Have Known" We are enthralled by the poignant love songs such as Dark Moon, Oh How I Miss You Tonight, Almost, You're Free To Go, You're The Only Good Thing (That Happened To Me), Room Full Of Roses, Have I stayed Away Too Long, I was Just walking Out The Door and We Could.
This is another fabulous lover's album which I would recommend for every fan Of the inimitable Jim Reeves.His rich ,sweet baritone voice could not have been sweeter in this classic collection.

simply put...the greatest and most beautiful voice god has ever given anyone. and a magnificent recording. there was no one.. or will there ever be a more trained or perfect voice. a standard to which all singers shall be measured. there was and only will be one " gentleman jim reeves " nuff said

The Intimate Jim Reeves is probably the best recordings he did. I have grown up with this record and it is very scratched, but thanks to Amazon, i am able to have Jims greatest album of all time back. I not only thank Jim Reeves for making this, but i also THANK Amazon for having it.

I GREW UP LISTENING TO THIS ALBUM AND HAVE PROBABLY HEARD IT OVER 100 TIMES. I WAS RECENTLY ABLE TO GATHER UP ALL THE SONGS THAT ARE ON THIS ALBUM AND LISTEN TO THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE ALL STILL JUST AS SMOOTH AND SILKY AND RELAXING NOW AS THEY WERE THEN. NOWHERE IN TODAY'S MUSIC WORLD WILL YOU FIND AN ARTIST WITH A VOICE AS SOOTHING AND SILKY AS REEVES'. IT'S WONDERFUL TO KNOW THAT THIS ALBUM IS ONCE AGAIN AVAILABLE TO SPEAK TO A WHOLE NEW WORLD OF LISTENERS.
