A Taste of What Was but Improved with Age - Oh, what could have been!.......2006-02-16
I love this album!!!! It's a sample of what John Denver had done with his music further on down the road of his life. His voice is so full, clean and strong. His voice, as he aged, became even more fantastic than when he first started and that is what you most definitly experience with this album. A little lower key with so much power and strength. The guitar and other instrumentals involved are really nice to hear too. Still lots of guitar (which he played fantastic!) This album made me cry. It makes me realize how much we'll miss out on not having John around with us longer. He was like a fine wine, improving so beautifully with age!
Memories of a Country Boy.......2004-06-20
This CD contains several of John Denver's hits, mabey the biggest of them. My issue with this CD is that some of the songs sound like they are being sung by someone else. I am not a John Denver fanatic, and have not hear most of his work, so I may just be in the dark about different versions of songs he may have done. This is a nice collection non the less.
