"Classic Country: Late '60s" is part of the Time Life Music Classic Country collection. I love this big collection. It has all of the great old songs you hardly hear anymore, except on the radio show "Country Gold Saturday Night". Some of the 15 songs on this cd seem very old-fashioned, making me think of the '50s, such as "Blue Side of Lonesome" and "Is It Really Over" by Jim Reeves and "Almost Persuaded" by David Houston. Then there are more lively and modern songs like Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds" (is this country music?) and "Galveston" by Glen Campbell. The last song on the cd is "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro, which makes me cry my eyes out. Although the music on this cd doesn't seem to go together very well, they are all good tunes.
