wow, what can i say about this album. it can only be described as awesome. the opening builds up into a spine chilling crescendo, and orion could not be in better voice as he throws himself into a great performance of promised land. orion is in great spirits as he connects with the audience throughout the show laughing and joking with them. the musicians are superb all the way through and orion is in top vocal condition.the sound quality is superb, you could ask for no better. sadly orion was tragically taken from us just days after this show was recorded. and if orion had known his sad demise was coming he couldnt have left us with a better final performance. this is orion at his best. some think he might be king elvis, but to me he is just good old jimmy ellis. the man with the voice of a king.this cd also has some fantastic colour photos on the inside of the sleeve. well worth every penny. dont hesitate to buy it. you wont be dissapointed. rock on with orion !!!!

If I did not know that I listened to Orion I would not believe that a singer could get that close to the voice of Elvis. He is even better than the king in certain songs.
I really love this CD. It's a must for all Orion (and Elvis) fans.

SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!.......2004-02-12

I just recently purchased this CD to kill my curiousity regarding the man they say has the voice of a King, Elvis Presley. It's quite haunting to hear him sing Elvis'songs on this CD as it's as if it were the King himself. Certain songs on this CD are absolutely bone chilling. Seriously thinking of buying more of Orion's music to listen to. It's also a shame to have lost an incredible singer as he in such an untimely manner.

As a man and singer Jimmy Ellis was a very gifted person.
His voice style similar to Elvis Presley was both a blessing
and a curse to his career. This CD has captured one of his
last public shows before he was murdered in his business
on the afternoon of Dec 12,1998. If you enjoy the smooth
sounds and enjoyable songs of Elvis your sure to like this
CD. If you already know who ORION is and have followed his
music career this is a must have for your collection.
