Pay Attention To Titles.......2004-04-08

I love This Album!!!!!!!! All of their albums as a matter of fact. I never listened to counrty until I met them and heard their songs. As far as the last entry in the reviews, Mr2Step, if you bothered tho look at the 2 albums and compare titles maybe you would have "expected" something different. With a collection of music from this band I anxiously await their new album. Keep the Great Music coming!!!!!!

Incorrectly titled.......2002-12-08

This album is actually an "Encore Collection" titled "Big Dreams" and is NOT "Big Dreams in a Small Town." It's one of those two-ninety-nine bargain bin specials -- it doesn't even have an insert.

BEWARE: Not the Original Album.......2001-11-07

While "Restless Heart - Big Dreams" is a good CD and includes several of their hits - BEWARE! This is not the original 1988 "Big Dreams In A Small Town" album. That album included "Big Dreams in a Small Town" and "Bluest Eyes In Texas," but also included 8 other great songs such as "Jenny Come Back" and "Calm Before the Storm" that you won't find here!! This is an encore/Greatest Hits collection, probably put together by the record label (i.e. without the band's creative input) that includes material not only from "Big Dreams in a Small Town," but also "Wheels" and the band's debut "Restless Heart" album....

I Love Restless Heart.......2001-08-31

Ok I was raised with this band and I listened to every single album they came out with. but this one was great the hamonys were great, I am a musician myself and I love to play their music but I have to say this is the tightest band I have ever seen or heard, Big Dreams In A Small Town was so good I had to listen to it over and over and still to this day I listen to it it is just an over all great cd you should all buy this album.

Bouth this CD the day it came out, listened to it for a week straight (then sent it to my girlfriend, who was in the process of dumping me; such is life). Key songs: Big Dreams in a Small Town (see also, Steve Earle's "Someday"), Bluest Eyes in Texas. At 33, I'm trying to relive some of those younger years. These are the songs that made mid-to-late '80s country wonderful and make today's country unbearable. Of course, I burned through two cassettes of Restless Heart's "Wheels" before getting this one. You gotta get both.
