These guys are really great. I got to hear them live, and they really do play at a breakneck pace. Great lyrics too. If you have time, please visit their website for information on Kirk Rundstrom's illness.

The Lip's new 2004 studio record "Should Have Seen It Coming" was released on September 28, 2004 and features the simultaneous blast-furnace fury of guitarist Kirk Rundstrom and mandolinist Wayne Gottstein. Their high-decibel hillbilly harmonies are in prime form, blurring onstage in a fit of stringcore madness.
