singing, dancing everywhere

Editorial Reviews

Seamus Duffy, Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (Bord Mhuigheo), May 14, 2002
This album has simplicity, musicality and joy which is what any such album aimed at the young should be about.

Product Description:
"singing, dancing everywhere" brings traditional Irish music full circle with children's sing-alongs, Irish language songs, a sampling of various dance tunes and instrumental music. The music resounds with the ringing melody of the hammered dulcimer, the lilting of whistles, and the driving beat of the bodhrán along with a variety of other traditional acoustic instruments and the voices of friends joined in song.

This album is an expression of Nancy's research of Ireland's history and traditions along with the experience of her first visit to Éire. It is a fun introduction to various types of song and music from Ireland for children and those young at heart.
