Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A Native Classic.......2001-04-19

For anyone interested in the reality of the native world today, this artist and his music is some of the best cross-cultural stuff you'll ever find. The songs are perfect for high school and college class work. Most of the songs speak to issues in our modern lives that haunt and challenge us today. It took great courage for these early native artists to express themselves in this way. They give us a gift, Indian and non-Indian to help us understand, heal, and move on. Forgive the unforgivable. Love those who hate and loath us native people, even today. These songs take you there. They sure touch me.
