About the Artist
Michael Jacobs is a thought-provoking Cherokee songwriter - a painter with words and music. He has a distinctive voice and his skills as a guitarist are impressive. His music is a fusion of contemporary and traditional sounds, and the colors and textures are the joys, heartaches, hopes and dreams particular to Native America, but also common to every human being.

He seeks to affect our future in a positive way by connecting us with the virtues of our long-lost past and drawing our hearts in love to Creator and one another.

An Excellent First Effort.......2004-04-12

Is this a great acoustic album or is this excellent Native American music? Really, it's both. Michael has strong writing skills, researching his songs extensively, using Native American imagery and rhythms throughout. This album won the 2003 Native American Music Award for Best Independent Album. But, if you are a fan of acoustic music, there's a lot to like here, as well. Songs like "Have Mercy" "Promised Land" and "Waiting for Pahana" really shine. This is an album with great songs and encouraging messages. Do yourself a favor and add it to your collection!

Sacred Ground by Bunny Sings Wolf.......2001-08-02

We have met Bunny and she is delightful. Her songs hold meaning to her. She brings her audience into the music by talking with them as she performs. She even asks the children if they would like to come up to participate in the music. Her voice is gentle, and caring. We also have her second CD "Buffalo Tales". It is another great album. Bunny performs at the Alpine Inn in Hill City, South Dakota. It is just delightful to hear her in person. As much as everyone loves to listen to her at the Alpine Inn, she really should be performing for a larger audience.
