Product Description:
Ben Weaver's debut album, "El Camino Blues" features original folk based in the long tradition of gravel roads, homespun cookouts and Soutern country blues. This Alabama native, sings in a gravel-voiced original style and writes music that is true Americana. Dirty Linen Magazine named Weaver, "quite possibly one of the best young songwriter's in folk music today."

It's hard to find a down track on El Camino. The music is tight, and Adriana's voice is on point as well. I'm still absorbing the lyrics, but i'm sure they're great as well.
Man, I'd love to see her live so much. She has a website, but it appears to not be up yet. The cd I got was an import and it took me a few weeks to finally get it, but it was well worth the wait and the extra $$.
Now, why Adriana is not a household name is beyond me. She's just so awesome. Her music is so layered and richly textured. She produces such solid stuff. The only way her name is going to get out there, is if we fans start spreading the word and making radio stations play her, and ask everyone to buy her stuff. So let's do it!!!
Adriana when are you going to tour?!?!
Siksika
"Hey now" is a bright shuffling dancer, "Calling Me" and "Never Kne"' are mid tempo floaters.
"Before You" is a slinky beat driven mid tempo foot taper which shows her vocals at their best, whilst "Underneath The Stars" and "Bluebird" are big beat mid tempo head nodders.
The funky dancer "Undercover Lover" and the shuffling mid tempo "All For love" are also highlights on this strong album.
Give this CD a spin, you will not regret !
I do hope that this fantastic album will be released VERY SOON in US !
