Customer Reviews:
Satisfying collection of familiar & less often heard tunes.......2006-06-03
I usually avoid compilations when I have half the songs on other albums, but I'm happy I made the exception, and given the recording shortcomings, lyrics that have not always worn well (Incredible String Band the worst offender, sorry for all those acid folk revivalists), and a rather charmingly dated marriage of folk and trippier sounds as you'd expect from songs from the later 60s, this is intelligently sequenced and a welcome sampler of the more and less familiar that any Brit-folk fan will enjoy.
A Good Intro to British Folk.......2000-01-15
