My 6 yr old daughter learned what the real name for asprin is because of this CD. She also helped my husband win a trivial pursuit game because she knew the answer. Anything that can make my daughter say acetylsalicylic acid is worth my money. She loves this CD.

Great Stories from a Master Storyteller.......2004-02-08

This is a wonderful collection of stories for all ages.

We first encountered Mr. Elliott through a tape given to us as a gift on a visit to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Our elementary school aged children loved it. We listened to it several times again on our 1,000 mile trip home.

We later had an opportunity to hear Doug present several of these stories live before groups of school children. He has an amazing ability to capture their imagination, keep their attention, and deliver a message hidden in each story.

His knowledge and love of nature and critters he has known comes through in every track. This CD would make a great gift for children through elementary school ages. There is a message in every track, very educational and fun. I can especially recommend it to help pass the time on a family road trip.
