Editorial Reviews Over the years she studied several instruments including the drums, violin and flute, but found her true passion to be singing and songwriting. She studied voice in all genres and styles from rock to classical to pop for over sixteen years. She began recording her original works in 1994 and traveled throughout southeastern PA and NJ, performing as a contemporary Christian singer/songwriter, working with various local and regional artists and musicians. Her resume also includes leading a church Praise and Worship Team and years of directing childrens musicals. She meet Paul Boylson, after moving to Florida in 1999, through her new churchs Praise Team in Boca Raton, FL. Paul had begun playing bass guitar several years prior, after many unsatisfying stints with garage bands. He felt as if he had more to offer and was always seeking to meet his creative counterpart. The search for him has ended with Sheila, and the two now tour South Florida, playing coffeehouses and other venues , and they bring in other musicians as needed. The arrangements to her melodies and lyrics done by Paul are in tune and in sync to just what the song needs, often teasing the listener with unexpected changes, making it refreshing and timeless. They are often lauded for their tight vocal harmonies, and find making music together a great joy in life
