About the Artist
These two friends have been playing together since Steve taught Chris how to play guitar well over twenty years ago. They've played all over East Tennessee as a duo and as members of folk-rock group, Exit 65. Not being folks to get in a hurry, "Smiley and the Lovedawg" is their first commercial release.

Album Description
This album showcases the twenty-something-year-old musical relationship of Chris Durman and Steve White. It is designed to record what these two actually sound like when playing live and acoustically. The songs are primarily Chris's; the slide-mandolin is all Steve. Hear what half a lifetime of playing together in the valleys of East Tennessee have inspired in these old friends.

Smiley and the Lovedawg, Music, Chris Durman and Steve White, Mandolin-fired, folk and blues from a down in the valley Applachian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist duo.
