About the Artist
Bob McParland is a New Jersey based singer-songwriter and author. He performs at clubs and coffeehouses throughout the Northeast United States.

Album Description
An emotive and passionate set of songs by the singer-songwriter Bob McParland, Before the Coming Snow ranges from the romantic to clear sighted observations of every day life. The stories in song here move from the mystery of ghosts on a ship in storm, a woman obsessed with Elvis Presley memorabilia,a rueful comment on the disappearance of a best friend into married life, and the struggle of a homeless man dropped at the train station. Mike Baron (drums), Pat Gallagher (bass guitar), Susan Heerema (violin), Patricia Davila (flute)turn in capable performances.
