This album is one of my favourite "new" finds of the year. I play it again and again and never get sick of any of the songs. It's beautiful, unique and I really can't say anything but good things about this. The music is one moment dreamy and soft and the next rocking and loud. It's perfect for any situation; alone in my room and played loud at a party. The singer's voice is rich and varied and the music is the perfect compliment to her vocals. It creates another world. I can't wait to discover more of their music.

I discovered this CD in early 2006, and am amazed that I hadn't heard of these guys earlier, since they apparently hail from the same city as I do (Portland, Oregon). They may have broken up (their website Jigsawjones.com is no longer there) so if you can find this CD, I would encourage you to grab it up at any cost! EVERY Steely Dan fan, many Santana enthusiasts ("Ode to Tom"), a few Chicago devotees ("Mountainside"), a handful of Wes Montgomery aficionados ("Screaming Out Loud"), and one or two Jamiroquai followers ("House of Red") MUST own this bright, upbeat mix of classy jazz guitar licks and subdued vocals. "Dreams" even has a pseudo-country feel to it! Produced by Dan Decker and Jigsaw Jones, with lyrics written by Timothy W. Stout, Jigsaw Jones' catchy music flows and fits into any smooth jazz or adult contemporary format. Released in 2003, this debut album has a remarkable retro-70's feel to it. Highly recommended!
The band consists of Anders Bergstrom (drums), Devin Henery (guitar, vocals), Nick Peets (guitar, vocals), Chandler Rich (keyboards, vocals) and Steve Sciarretta (bass). Guest musicians include: Stan Bock (trombone), Renato Carranto (saxophone), Bart Ferguson (harmonica, vocals) and Paul Mazzio (trumpet).

I was surprised at this cd (not being familiar with the dj or many of the tracks in the mix)--great balance of vocals and electro-tinged house. A lot of fun, definately worth checking out.

If you want to listen to something guaranteed to make you move, you'll love this album! "Ater All This Time" is one of my favorite radio hits. I love the song "Try Me" sung by Yameil! In summary, this is one of my favorite albums!
