Turbo-Kickass Rock 'n' Roll.......2004-04-16

This disc is awesome! I can't say enough about it. These guys blast through hardcharging originals without once letting up - tuneful, melodic, heavy - it's all there. They have some killer "ballady-type" songs on here, notably "Liberation" and "Someone Special" (usually I can't stand these kinds of tunes, but on this album they're some of the standouts). There isn't a bad song on the album. If you're a fan of Guns 'n' Roses' "Appetite for Destruction", guitar shredder Tracii Guns & L.A. Guns or any of the good Sunset Strip rock bands, you really gotta' get this album.

Sadly, about 16 years too late,but still worth every penny!.......2003-09-15

From Sweden comes the band L.A. could not produce in the 80's. Hardcore Superstar is everything Poison, Warrant, hell...even Motley Crue could never have been. This is the first band to capture everthing Hanoi Rocks created since Gn'R. While those bands may say they were never trying to recreate the magic of Hanoi....they should have....they may still have a career....What H.S. does is exciting. It music that is fun, energetic, and full of hooks...It is a shame that this album comes out in this era, as they will probably be lost on the newer generation of music listeners.....you won't hear drum machines, loops, or samples here....just honest, aggressive, rock n' roll....this album is to glam what 'white blood cells' is to the garage. This album won't make you angry, it won't make you cry, it won't make you hate your parents, teachers, that guy that beat you up in third grade.....it will make you smile, and remember that rock n' roll should be a fun escape....

Mmm Mmm Good.......2002-06-19

This is Hanoi Rocks, Guns 'N' Roses, and Buckcherry all rolled into one, with a healthy dose of Scandinavian punk. And it's A-okay. This is the type of band you won't want to tell your friends you like, because it feels like a true guilty pleasure.

Very Good Rock!.......2002-01-06

Hardcore Superstar's first Album which I think is quite much better then their new release "Shame".

The album is very influenced by the greatest band on earth "Backyard Babies" and many of the songs on this album (especially the first 5) is as good as Backyard Babies with high-energy rock and very good singing and instrumental work. Unfourtnatly some of the following songs are a bit more "slower" and a bit more 70's-rock. A bit like latest Hellacopters album actually and this makes the Album a 4-star instead of a 5-star.

Conclusion: Buy this good album if you like Backyard Babies, Hellacopters or any other good rock!
