One of the best bands ever has finally returned. I could listen to this CD for hours and not get bored. They have the classics, as well as a few new ones. If you haven't heard Fenix TX, then given them a try, I don't know how you couldn't like them.

Fenix Tx changed their lineup around and grew up a little and turned out what i think was the best rock album of 2001. That pop-punk stuff got old quick so these guys turned out an effectively intense follow up to their self-titled debut. I'm sure they got tired of the comparisons to blink 182 so they decided to go a different way which to me it works. I saw them live four times and twice it was for their Lechuza tour and they kicked major ass. This album is just an amazing rock record. For all you pop-punk fans there are only like 2 songs that even remnotely sound like their first album. Best songs: "something bad is gonna happen" ,"katie w.", "abba zabba" and "a song for everyone".

I love this album so much. I can't beleive how much I was missing out on. I downloaded it about...1 month ago, and have been playing it all the time, and I haven't got bored.

It's a lot better than their debut album. I mean, Surf Song, what the hell is that?? Seriously. It's not big, it's not clever, it just sucks. I think on this album there are no low points, and every song is good :)

They have the same sort of sound as Blink, but just sound more grown up. The lead singer has an amazing strong voice, and the guitars on it are so good.

My favourite songs are:

Threesome - it's so catchy, I've been singing it all the time. It has really good words, which are easy to understand. I think that's good because you can sing along better :) The only way it can be improved is by making it longer. Come ON Fenix, you're only giving us 2 and a half minutes here!

Tearjerker - Not really that much to say. It's such a sweet song with great words that are really heartfelt.

Abba Zabba - This never used to be one of my favourites, but now I can't get enough of it! I love the intro, it sounds just like The Strokes who are another of my favourite bands. It has great words and a really catchy chorus.

El Borracho - This is the last song on the album, and is a fantastic way to finish it. It's a really slow, almost ballad song, which such beautiful words. The intro is great, and the instruments are just...wow. The lead singers voice is so suited to this, and he sings in a really low, passionate way.

I love this album, and it is definitely worth having :) xx

Their first album was better than any Blink album, and this one was just a kick ass F'n album. This was like the soundtrack for the summer of 2001 for me...It was awesome!!Saw em' at warped tour. They got a new guitarist which added some harder elements to the band, and their songwriting is superb...I guess they didn't want to be dubbed as the kings of Bubble-punk...Well, whether they like it or not, they are the pop-punk kings and as soon as they disappeared there was an idiot uprising...Please get your asses back in the throne and RULE!!!!

Some people might not agree with me. But personally this is my all time favorite cd. I bought it the day it was released for $6.99 and on the first listen loved some songs thought some were ok. But boy did it grow on me. The placement of all the songs on the cd, the diversity, heck even the song titles are fantastic. Plus there is no silence on the whole cd. each song segways into another than totally goes to a new place. I'm still very bitter they broke up because if this is what they release for a "sophomore" album than what could they have done?

An essential album for Fenix TX fans. Fenix TX's high energy is brought to life on stage. Awesome versions of classic songs like "Pheobe Cates," "Tear Jerker" and "Threesome." Fenix TX's covers of CCR's "Fortunate Son" and Bowie's "Major Tom" are a rare treat. Highly suggested! Fenix TX fans and fans of the pop-punk genre will be stoked!

There are few bands that compare, FenixTX rocks hardcore. This CD is well worth the buy.

This album isn't awful and it is not hardcore punk album by any means but it is a sugary sweet punk album that is actually better than blink 182. Lechuza is a better album this album sounds sort of bland like New found glory, good charlotte or simple plan and Blink themselves who actually opened the flood gates to these little super poppy-punk bands. Pop- punk has always existed since the 70's (Buzzcocks, Dickies, Undertones) it's just that some bands can pull it off (Green day, descendents,vandals) and some bands can't. This is an ok release and probably one of the better from this particular genre. best songs: "surf song", "speechless" , "G.B.O.H."

Look, this CD, though banal and ill-conceived like a debut CD, is not... get that through your heads. These charming gentlemen were the band River Fenix, and had releases since 96... anyways, this is a terrible CD, uninventive, clichéd and down right scary... I'm just amazed that they could go from this trite sack of power pop punk garbage to the even more abominable and insipid neo-emo now on the radio with their latest release...

I'd expect people who listen to Nofx or BR to have the intelligence of knowing not to touch this CD. But for those pop punkers out there, this CD might be for you.

All My Fault, Minimum Wage and Jolly Green Dumbass are great songs. The Surf Song has got the be the worst song I've ever heard tho. So some you might like, some you might not.

Remember, their second one is better, and they have broken up.

P.S.: I gave this 4 star b/c of the Surf Song. It is really THAT bad, even for a pop punker.

"The only difference is that Fenix,Tx has one more guitar than blink and Travis (and Scott) are/were better drummers then the drummer for Fenix,Tx." your high you obviously haven't heard lechuza damon was/is one of the best drummers ever... travis is a great drummer and i wouldn't have busted your balls if you had only said travis but scott was horrid."

I dont know how much you know about drums, but scott is a better drummer then the fenix tx drummer, and certainly better than travis. I dont think ive ever heard a drummer put drums to songs that matched them and connected so well as scott did. All travis does is just put fancy fills into songs and everyone thinks he's the best. Secondly this cd is superb, check out specchless, ben and minumum wage, also, mark hoppus is in the " all my fault" video clip.

don't get me wrong, this is a great song. but there's only the one song here. the album version of threesome. the product description says there's a live version of threesome and a live version of a song for everyone. plus the video for threesome. this is misleading and i am very disappointed. i have the album lechuza, where this song comes from, so i basically just wasted $2.50 plus $2.50 for shipping for one song i already have.

The live versions of Threesome and A Song For Everyone from the Astoria (London, 2002) are great, high energy, but sound a bit muddy (Purple Reign has much better sound quality). The video quality is very good. This is a UK release.

      I am new to the punk scene, and frankly, I thought that these guys were the bomb . . . until I heard that all of the other bands sound exactly like them. Don't get me wrong, it is still a fun CD to listen to, but it isn't incredible. It has a lively sound, along with a few sad love song. I find myself singing lyrics to other songs that they don't belong to, just because they all sound alike. If you're looking for something you can jam to or drive around blasting so that everyone knows you are punk, this is the CD for you . . . but if you are already into punk, you've basically have the CD already.

      There was no point in making an edited version for this CD. The regular version has 1 swear word on the whole CD and there is nothing wrong with it. Get that CD it is much better. There is no point in having an Explicit Lyrics sticker on the regular version of the Fenix TX CD. Get that and no the clean version.

      This CD is awesome! Their new one is of course better musically but this CD shows glimpses of what is to come from these guys. Contrary to what a few people said, this album has plenty of variety, AND the singer's voice is great for their style. He can actually hold a note, too, unlike many punk bands. The only thing lacking on this CD is sound quality, but that's the record company's fault, so any comments of that nature from "fans" of the CD should think about that. This really is a great CD!

      Though I agree that this album is full of melodic pop punk and does lend itself to singing along with the lyrics, it is, nonetheless, nothing new. This album lacks something that other bands (like MxPx or Goldfinger) possess. If you are looking for something to catch your attention, this is not it. If you are looking for another CD to add to your collection, this is worth the money (just don't expect to be blown away.) I did enjoy the CD and I still continue to listen to it. It is a fun CD, just be aware that it is nothing special.

      Fenix TX, these guys are very cool, I got this CD cuz I was attracted to the Its All My Fault video. So then I got their CD, but I accidently got the edited version at Wal-Mart, at first the CD I thought was going to be my fav, until you listen to every song, what I mean is, well the singer has a great voice, but every song sounds the same and they really get old. Although I still listen to all my fault, they are a good and cool band over all, its just the fact that they sound the same and I'm not down with that. But for a punk or modern punk CD I am still giving them 5 stars cuz the songs still sound great. Get the CD if you like Blink 182, MXPX, or Hangnail, check out Hangnail, they are very awesome.
