I have listened to this CD a million and one times and I cannot get enough of it. It is the most sensational thing money can buy and I feel like I have discovered a real treat. Mark taylor's vocals are awful, and the drumming leaves a lot to be desired, but the real genius is in the irish alcholholics guitaring and those subtle bass lines.

These genuinely sound like broken people, smashed like an egg on the frying pan of life. The worst track is 12 year old tart and the best one is blood on the sheets. Hang on, I don't think blood on the sheets was actually a track, but you know what I mean.

This is quite an exceptional album that has been largely overlooked (so far) in the UK. The album opens with two very retro but catchy almost sing along punk based numbers, Tescos and Numbers. The highlights come later with "12 year old tart" which is quite unlike anything I have heard before and the final number "Baked bean Man" which is almost pure psychadelia with a tremendous guitar finale. Sadly the UK Pin-ups are no more, but this album is strongly recommended for those wanting to hear something that is special, a little different and provocative as the Pin-ups always were. The correct name of the album is "Made in Tilehurst".
