5 out of 5 stars Goes to the heart.......2005-04-08

The best Ska/rock band in the world.
Excellent on stage and the audience seems
to worship mr.Clean on tours.
Favorit songs are: Mr clean / Dance craze / and all the others

Here's a little list of great scandinavian
bands if that is something you seek:

Him / Hellacopters / Turbonegro / Jens Lekman / Sahara hotnights
Elin Sigvardsson / Nightwish / The Hives / Ace of base / Abba
Roxette / The Ark / Secret garden / Yngwie Malmsteen / The Sounds
Lene Marlin / Bjork / The Nomads / Entombed / Glucifer /
Truckfighters ( only availible in sweden,i think ) /
Little chris ( only availible in sweden,i think )....

then the list goes on,and who cares...

5 out of 5 stars A solid beginning.......2005-04-05

Same Old Tunes is too good to be a debut album. Overall, it's probably better than the constantly overrated Life on a Plate, but just below Four Monkeys. Pennybridge and Home from Home are in a different leauge, not better, just different, so it's hard to compare them to Same Old Tunes. The album is packed with great songs. Mr. Clean is probably the best of the bunch. Even the album cover is good. This is a very complete, mature recording, surprising that it's a debut. I love Millencolin, but I need to say something on here. Hopefully, the band will see it and change. You guys suck live! I caught one of your shows a few years ago (you haven't been back since), and you just didn't seem like you cared. The show was very short, and you looked bored on the stage. The music was good, but your attitudes needed to change. Even if you are bored up on the stage, fake it, for the fans' sake. I was very disappointed. Anyway, yeah...I'm always right.

5 out of 5 stars great punk/ska cd.......2002-08-04

I have had this cd for about 3 years and i listen to it everyday. i have downloaded every song on it to my computer so i can listen to it on the computer. the first millencolin cd i bought was for monkeys. i got this one next and i loved it. all of the songs are so catchy that you never want to stop listening to it. i have heard all the millencolin cds and this is my favorite. if you have never heard millencolin, then this cd would be a great thing to buy first. if tou are just browsing through somewhere and happen to come across this cd you should buy it. if you are just a hardcore punk rocker that hates reggae and ska, you should still buy this cd because the othere songs will make you love millencolin. in most punk bands the guitarists play pretty easy songs. (i play guitar) but in millencolin. the 2 guitarists are both the best i have ever heard in a punk band. the songs they play are reaslly hard to play. proof? my guitar teacher couldnt play most of their songs. overall the combination of punk and ska make the best album ever made. if you have never bought a punk cd then this is the one to buy.

3 out of 5 stars Just OK.......2001-04-15

Pennybridge Pioneers was the first Millencolin album I bought and I absolutely loved everything about it. The next album I bought was Same Old Tunes. I didn't think it could even compare to Pennybridge. I almost lost faith in Millencolin because of it. The reason why I gave it three stars was because I'm sure those of you who like more of a ska sound instead of a punk sound will like it better. I just bought For Monkeys and I felt that was alot better than Same Old Tunes and just under the quality of Pennybridge Pioneers. For Monkeys is making me look forward to buying Life on a Plate.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Punk Album Of All Time.......2001-03-29

Yes i am serious, this is the album that shaped my future as a punk listener. I first got a taste of the swedish punkers in 1993 on a bodyboard video that was released in Australia, it featured Disney Time and Take It Or Leave It, and from there i was hooked. It wasn't until early 95' that another video was brought out with Einstein Crew on it, that put me into action, i went straight out and bought it. My life hasn't been the same since. Millencolin have released several good follow up albums, all were good but none had anything on the original. They slowly got more polished but, the impact and overall influence it had on me will never be surpassed. They are all good songs, it starts with a song that everyone knows and loves, Mr. Clean. Disney Time and Dance Craze follow the same good style. Da Strike could pull any person out of a bad mood, House Of Blend is lyrically brilliant and Leona another punk anthem. But real joy comes with the last two songs, which i think are Millencolin's best Einstein Crew and Take It Or Leave It. If you are a true punker, you must have this cd, even if there new found popularity has put you off them.

    5 out of 5 stars Great CD.......2002-09-03

I've only been a Millencolin fan for a few months, but I really like this cd. At first I wasn't at all thrilled about it, but after listening through pretty much all their CDs countless times... this is one of my recent favorites, along side penny bridge pioneers and life on a plate.

2 out of 5 stars Worst Millencolin Cd.......1999-07-04

I love Millencolin and but this cd doesnt sound like them at all it has way too much Ska on it the only songs that are moderately acceptable are Da Strike and Mr. Clean both of which are more funny than anything else, if you wanna buy a millencolin cd buy For Monkeys it Kicks A$$!

5 out of 5 stars Incredible hard/softcore by swedish guys.......1999-06-01

This is an incredible album by these guys. Sweden is full of great artists, ya know. Their first (long) album. Really worth buying!

5 out of 5 stars IS IT GOOD?.......1999-02-22
