3 out of 5 stars Ferry Corsten - Passport to the USA.......2007-06-28

Let me say that Ferry Corsten's newest release "Passport to the United States of America" is Good, but it just didn't really blow me away. I thought his Passport Netherlands was stronger.

Passport USA is solid but never really reaches epic trance status. It gets in the ballpark, but never really made me go "wow" for any extended period of time. Plus you're paying quite a bit of money for only one disc of music. I could do without the DVD if the album cost less.

There are TONS of other trance/ dance/ electronica discs out there. I would skip this and get Armin van Buuren's "A State of Trance 2007" instead.

5 out of 5 stars One of Ferry's Best.......2007-06-25

Certainly a great mix. Although it's unfortunately only 1 disk, Ferry still delivers a well balanced collection of the recently popular electro-sounding progressive trance in addition to the high pumping synth lines that Corsten does best.

5 out of 5 stars POWERFUL!!!!!!.......2007-06-22

You will be amazed. Only after hearing his speaches I realized he was a powerful man. A man like that does not have a chance to live a long life in this world. Malcolm X speaks the truth and doesn't care if you like what he says or not. I love you Malcolm. I wish I was only alive to see you. May God rest your soul. Amen

5 out of 5 stars This is powerful!.......2006-06-04

For those of us who missed seeing Malcolm in person, this will give you a sense in why he is a sage of the hightest order. I am humbled at his way in which he makes us think. Very powerful.

4 out of 5 stars Inflammatory!!!.......2006-03-29

Malcolm X's words are as true today as they were then. Unfortunately, not as much has changed as what we may think. He was so inflammatory and provocative; I can't imagine how "either side" took his heated messages when he first delivered them. Absolutely mindblowing. I wish I was there to witness his charismatic delivery and the strength of his testimony.

2 out of 5 stars Some songs okay, others sound like singer has a cold.......2007-04-23

I thought some of the songs performed on this CD were nice, but I am giving it a 2 because there were several tracks with a vocalist who sounded as if he had a cold, or a closespin on his nose! I found it very annoying to listen to. Anyway, I've heard better renditions of all these songs.

Basically the music does not sound the same as the music from the Sopranos series, don't know if it was a different singer, certainly not worth the money

1 out of 5 stars NOT the HBO version.......2006-06-06

This sucks bad. It is NOT the version used on the Sopranos. There are a lot more lyrics and the performers don't sound anything like the HBO version by A3. Don't waste your money.

3 out of 5 stars Great Music... Poor Mastering!.......2006-03-07

I recently started collection Tommy Garrett records from used record stores. I bought a pristine copy of Maria Elena on vinyl for just $1. I was amazed at the beauty of this record and the amazing sound Eddie Bracket, the engineer, got on the guitars and percussion. The sound of the vinyl really amazed me! Besides a few cracks and pops here and there, this record sounded better than most cds. I transferred the LP to cd with amazing results. Since then I have collected about 8 Tommy Garrett records... I was excited to buy this cd (Best of 50 Guitars) at a discounted price ($6.98), but when I received it, I was disappointed to find no liner notes and even worse, disappointed by the weak sound quality of the songs themselves. This surely wasn't mastered properly and sounds much thinner than the vinyl recordings I have. Maybe the source recordings were taken from an old tape. I don't know, but in the future I'll just make vinyl transfers myself.

4 out of 5 stars passport.......2005-12-29

It is hard to fault this cd,what with Nana's beautiful voice singing at her best,as usual, but I don't know the Greek language, and several songs on here are all in a foreign language, which is fine if you understand the language. This is the only reason I downrate it to 4 stars from 5.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent introduction to the music of Nana.......2003-09-20

This CD is a re-issue of a compilation that first appeared on vinyl in the mid seventies. Nana has recorded many fine songs since then but this collection still provides a great start to a collection of Nana's music.

The set opens with White rose of Athens. At the time this was her signature song and may still be so though I can't be sure of that. It is certainly appropriate for Nana, the most successful popular recording artist Greece has ever produced.

Several covers of famous songs are included, but that's fine because they always sound special when Nana sings them. They include Seasons in the sun, Bridge over troubled waters, Day is done, Try to remember, And I love you so and Amazing grace. Note that I have a dream is not the Abba song of that title (though Nana has also recorded that, just to confuse everybody) and My friend the sea is not the song that provided Petula Clark with a huge British hit in the early sixties. Nana sings Never on a Sunday in French, the language in which it was originally written. Other great songs here include The loving song, Turn on the sun and The last rose of summer.

While this can no longer be regarded as the definitive Nana collection, it was just that in the seventies and still makes for great listening.

5 out of 5 stars Nana's voice is so soothing!.......2003-08-17

I first "discovered" Nana while listening to XM Satellite Radio, tuned to the "Easy Listening" channel. They play Nana's work several times a day and I found that whenever she was singing, I would stop what I was doing to check the display screen to see who it was. This album contains many of her standards including Cu-cu-ru-cu (English version), which is just beautiful!! If you like easy listening, female voice music, then this is a CD to purchase.

4 out of 5 stars Simply gorgeous album.......2000-06-24

I love this album, I would recommend it, every Nana Mouskouri fan will enjoy this album. I would especially recommend this album to those who would lay back and let the music take them away, the sweet, simple songs with a touch of the seventies sounds will soothe your mind and soul. ps-centaur75@mailcity.com

5 out of 5 stars I just don't get tired of this album.......2006-10-20

I've had this album in one form or other since perhaps 1977, and I still listen to it on a regular basis. The title cut alone is worth the price of admission. I also have Handmade and Looking Thru (both very good), and Blue Tattoo (yawn).

Cross-Collateral is a work of art. Turn it up loud and imagine what this group must have been like live. `nuff said?

5 out of 5 stars The best Passport album I've heard so far.......2006-06-14

Passport was no doubt one of the best known fusion groups to come out of Germany. I have to say I am not big on fusion, but on occasions, I find an album that grabs me. Like this 1975 album from Passport. Cross-Collateral (1975) was not their second album, it was their fifth, but it was only their second American release. Looking Thru (1974) was their first U.S. release. They already had three albums previous to Looking Thru, Hand Made (1973), Second Passport (1972) and Doldinger (1971, the big anomaly in the Passport catalog as to having Amon Duul II members helping out).

By Looking Thru, the group finally had a stable lineup that would last them around three or four years, and of course a string of albums fans of the band most associate Passport with. The lineup consisted of saxist/keyboardist Klaus Doldinger (who was born in 1936, meaning he was knocking around the music business since the 1950s, and Passport was simply his 1970s and '80s project), drummer Curt Cress (who you'll find on nearly every other German prog rock album from Atlantis to Trimvirat), keyboardist Kristian Schultze, and bassist/guitarist Wolfgang Schmidt. I really think that Cross-Collateral is certainly a high point in the career in Passport (of the albums I've heard, as I hadn't heard any of their pre-Looking Thru albums, and I was warned about the stuff they did after Infinity Machine). "Homunculus" is a wonderful number, dominated by clavinet, and some nice themes played by Doldinger's sax. The title track is a real interesting one as it goes through several changes from wild and experimental to more mellow passages and funky passages with clavinet. It's truly an amazing piece. "Jadoo" continues on the wild, intense ride, while the band starts mellowing out with the next three cuts, which are still quite wonderful. "Will-O'-the-Wisp" features more clavinet and a nice sax theme from Doldinger. Here Doldinger includes some Mellotron. "Albatross Song" includes more nice sax playing and some Mellotron buried in the background. Most fusion groups would simply shy away from the Mellotron (like Weather Report or Mahavishnu Orchestra, although Jan Hammer did use one on his solo album The First Seven Days - but that was more of a prog rock/electronic album than fusion), probably because you can't show off on that instrument, unlike an electric piano, Mini Moog and Hohner D-6 clavinet. But at least Klaus Doldinger didn't have a problem with the Mellotron (although he used it more on their previous album, Looking Thru, and apparently earlier albums too) and that's nice to hear the instrument in this genre of music. The band really mellows out with the last piece "Damals" in a wonderful fashion, this time more piano dominated, but the sax is still there.

A must for those who are in to fusion (and even me who isn't big on that kind of music).

5 out of 5 stars Great jazz rock with some prog mixed in.......2006-05-17

This is another great album to come out of the incredibly diverse 1970s German music scene. Interestingly enough, although this 1975 album is a jazz-rock album, it is loosely tied to the German experimental rock scene (in my mind at any rate) in that Passport shared a producer with bands such as the Cosmic Jokers - namely, Deiter Dierks. The production quality by the way, is stellar.

The musicians on this album include bandleader Klaus Doldinger (tenor and soprano saxes, mini-moog synthesizer, electric piano, and mellotron); incredible drummer Curt Cress; Wolfgang Schmid (Rickenbacker bass and acoustic guitar on Damals); and Kristian Schulze (Fender electric piano and Hammond organ).

There are six pieces on the album and range in length from 4'38" to 13'38". Stylistically, the album is mostly jazz rock, but there are elements of progressive rock scattered here and there. That is to say that the rhythms and chord structures are not always jazzy, and that melodies are used more often than is characteristic of most jazz rock. There is also the choice of instrumentation, which includes the mini-moog and most notably the mellotron, which is used on Albatross Song. Although synthesizers were being used by other jazz rock groups around this time including Return to Forever, their use on Cross-Collateral seems somewhat more...British. Furthermore, the bassist's decision to use a trebly, punchy Rickenbacker bass rather than, say a fretless Fender jazz bass, was unusual.

In a nutshell, the performances by all of the musicians are superb, especially those by Billy Cobham influenced drummer Curt Cress. In fact, many of the pieces seem to revolve around the drummer! The pieces are all well put together, develop nicely, and are diverse with respect to dynamics and overall timbre. This album is highly recommended along with the 1974 release "Looking Thru". In fact, I would urge prog heads who don't mind jazz rock to check this album out - the folks on the Gibraltar Encyclopedia of prog rock page had some very nice things to say about it.

5 out of 5 stars Passport's most powerful sound!.......2005-01-28

I first heard this album in November, 1981. It was on Atco records at the time and side one consists of only two tracks: "Homunculus" and the 13 and a half minute title track. Klaus Doldinger and the boys really know how to make unique electronic jazz music. I think the title song is so exciting with it's everchanging style. It's basically a suite. In my opinion, it is best during Curt Cress' drum solo. It reminds me of Danny Seraphine's "Motorboat" solo from Chicago III. Side two includes four tracks, one of which is called "Jadoo" which sounds to me like the theme of the seventies' cop-show that never was. If you are just starting a collection of Passport CDs, I recommend "Cross Collateral", one of the best Jazz/Fusion albums ever.

5 out of 5 stars At Their Early Best.......2003-07-30

This is Passports most successful early album and it's crisp, eleaborate fusion production is a good enough reason why.
The over-flowing "Homuculus" and the clanging and smooth tital
track make for an intense, powerful first side.Side B starts with
the brief but potent funk rocker "Jaboo",followed by a trio of tunes the get progressively gentler. It's memorable, musical and
impeccably constructed and the level of improvisation here will
make this palatable to jazz, funk and rock fans alike.A veritable
collosus!

5 out of 5 stars No Peers.......2007-04-10

Martin Luther King Jr. truly has no peers as an erudite African American preacher. He perfectly blends the style and tradition of the Black preacher with the homiletical genius of the best theologian. When it comes to balance and delivery, he simply has no peers. This is a nice collection of speeches. If you have only heard those "big" mainstream media friendly speeches, then this will be an eye opener. This man was truly a prince among preachers.

5 out of 5 stars Concise Collection.......2006-02-19

This is a pretty concise collection of fairly lengthy excerpts of Dr. King's speeches. Mostly from around 1961-65. "The American Dream", a sermon that he gave on several occasions, is here in the 1961 version. Not bad, but the better version was one he gave at his church on July 4, 1965. "Creative Protest" is worth the price of admission alone in that it is one of the most eloquent defenses against his critics. Here, he takes on critics of his method of direct and nonviolent protest and explains its historical patterns. "Better Way" and "We Shall Overcome" are not as familiar to most modern listeners as "I Have a Dream" and "The Mountaintop," but they are in the similar mode of allusions to Negro spirituals and the gospels. Kingologists will enjoy. Also, it is interesting to compare the hopeful note of this CD with it's flipside "The Wisdom of Malcolm X."

4 out of 5 stars Brings Back Memories.......2007-01-12

I listened to this album all through my university years, 20 years ago, and so finding it now has brought back a lot of good memories. I'm glad that I was able to get an import version as I have not seen it anywhere for a long time. I love this type of progressive rock music in the vein of Genesis and Yes. Mike Rutherford may be the most unassuming member of Genesis and this album seems to be in keeping with his personality since he doesn't seem to be front and center, although he lays down some nice guitar solos and wrote the material. But the entire ensemble is allowed to shine on this album. It sounds a bit like Genesis but also offers something different.

I especially like the "Smallcreep's Day" suite, which is based on a story by Peter Currell Brown. It used to be one side of the album and it's a sort of concept song with one piece flowing into the other. I think it captures the alienation of working at a dead end job and the thrill of trying to escape from it.

Overall, I like the musicianship on the album, particularly Simon Phillips' drumming, which can be a bit heavy-handed at times, but I think it works. He does some very interesting things on "Out Into the Daylight" and "Moonshine". Mike Rutherford has some nice solos on "Working In Line" and "Time and Time Again" and uses the acoustic guitar to good effect. Listening to this album again after many years I have much more appreciation for Noel McCalla's vocals. Some of the songs verge on being too "poppy" as my university roommate would say, so it depends whether you like that or not.

The one drawback with this package is that there are no liner notes. I have the original vinyl album and there were extensive notes, lyrics and some cool artwork. This package doesn't even list the musicians, which is the first thing I look for when buying a solo album from someone who plays in a group like Genesis. So, unfortunately, you have to go to the Internet to get any information on the project.

3 out of 5 stars The parts do not equal the whole.......2006-07-20

I love Genesis. This is a decent enough solo project. I'm not thrilled by the entire set list, but there are some nice instrumental passages. However I do feel that overall the depth of the sound is not full enough. Even when there are guitars, keyboards, bass and drums trying to impart something dramatic it just lacks impact. Even the singer has a very middle-of-the road vocals that seem to plague a lot of Genesis solo efforts, (obviously not including Phil and Peter's solo work.) Not a must have, but something for the curious.

5 out of 5 stars Best work of Mike as soloist, best work of prog .......2006-06-16

I had this record at the end of the 70s or early 80s (not sure now).. I never got tired of listening to it.. and always saying how come something so good never came before?? or after for that matter.

Sleeve of the record had all the lyrics plus the inspiration of the Album's main theme (Side B dedicated), so in order to understand it and be faithful to the vinyl version start at track 8. This wuld have been side A of the record and contains excellent songs.

Side B has to be understood as a whole story:

Tired of always doing his 25 years routine at work, Smallcreep takes and adventure at night to visit the factory and find out what is it it made... a true exploration at alienism.. so At the End of the Day he retuns home a changed man and to his loving wife..

The album said it was inspired in a book I searched google and found a review that said

"Side one of the album was inspired by the book 'Small Creep's Day' by Peter Currell Brown, the second side contains a batch of individual songs with no overall concept"

Its a shame that the book is not available at Amazon US

4 out of 5 stars Nothing else quite like it........2006-03-18

SMALLCREEP'S DAY is kind of an odd "solo album" because the main artist is showcased as a songwriter but not so much as a performer. Performance-wise, there is more focus on singer Noel McCalla and keyboardist Anthony Phillips than on Rutherford. (Mr. Mike particularly does little actual playing on some sections of the "Smallcreep's Day" suite.)

This is an album that doesn't quite sound like anything else, particulary Rutherford's later efforts. I wouldn't have minded hearing this combination of performers do more. (They also did a rare B-side, "Compression", whose failure to appear on this CD as a bonus track is a CRIME.)

Compositionally, Rutherford goes for beauty and complexity over memorability. One thing that has always stood out to me is the album's sweet, uncynical personality -- quite a contrast to, say, the melancholy atmosphere of Tony Banks' comparable A CURIOUS FEELING or to most Gabriel-era Genesis. Comparisons between the "Smallcreep's Day" suite and Genesis' earlier "Supper's Ready" are both obvious and pointless.

My favorite track is "Overnight Job". Some of the lyrics are a bit limp, and "Moonshine" wants to be a much tougher song than it is, but those are minor complaints.

4 out of 5 stars GREAT SOLO GENESIS CD.......2005-09-06

This is arguably the best Genesis solo album. Mike does a great long composition in the spirit of Supper's Ready where he displays his fabulous guitar work (guitar and bass). Great melodic music that Danjob continues to ignore. You should not ignore this great work.

Album Description

Hailing from Rotterdam City, The Netherlands, Ferry Corsten has quickly grown into one of the world's foremost DJ/Producers. In 2005, he was voted #5 DJ in the world by UK's DJ Magazine, and #8 in America by BPM Magazine. Ferry, along with fellow Dutchmen Tiesto and Armin Van Buren, are champions of the ever-popular Dutch trance sound. With a handful of acclaimed mix albums under his belt, as well as his lauded debut artist album, Ferry is now primed and ready to take his signature sound to the next level with the launch of his "Passport" series. The first installment of "Passport" will feature Ferry returning to his DJ role on this mixed double CD set, yet the album also features a handful of exclusive productions and remixes from Ferry himself. These include his bootleg remix of BT's "Force or Gravity" and "Underwater" under Ferry's System F alias, amongst others. With a track selection that moves from smooth and melodic to big and banging, "Passport: Kingdom of the Netherlands" is set to become a fan-favorite trance mix.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars a very good mix.......2007-02-06

first of all, pay no attention to the spotlight review from "doctor trance". He must have been listening to another album, because this one is extremely good. I think he was upset that its 18 songs on a double disc set, whereas some double disc sets have 15 songs per disc. good point, but thats no cause to give the music on the album a bad review. this is an excellent 2 disc compilation with the exception of 4 songs that are completely passable. the first cd's track selection could not have been better. songs 1 through 9 are complete bliss, but 5 through 9 are superior. 6. Varian "Endless Desire" is my favorite on the cd. he mixes in such a way that it feels like a story is being told. each track compliments the other, whereas alot of compilations nowadays feel like the songs are just thrown together. cd 2 has a great selection as well. id have to say that 1. Airbiscuit "Lately", 2. Ronski Speed "2Day", 4. Purple Haze "Adrenaline", 5. Ferry Corsten "Sublime", and 7. FB feat. Edun "Who's Knockin'?" are the good songs on this cd. the overall progression of cd 2 is not as good as cd 1 but it has a little more energy. songs 1 and 2 are by far my favorite. song 3 is entirely to cheezy for my taste, and 6, 8, and 9 just didnt do it for me. overall a very good mix, with the exception of those songs.

4 out of 5 stars Overall, a solid and thoughtful mix album........2006-06-06

"Passport: Kingdom of the Netherlands" constitutes the first installment in what will apparently be a series of "Passport" releases. "Passport: Kingdom of the Netherlands" is also presented as being reflective of the most recent sound Corsten has involved himself in, although this essentially doesn't sound at all dramatically distinctive when comparing it to his previous releases. A noticeable, and fortunate difference, however, is the absence (or reduced presence) of some of the more obnoxious overbearing synth dominated trance prevalent throughout the track selections in his previous mixes. Like essentially all other trance DJ mix albums, this particular release features the latest and greatest to be produced from the trance world by various producers and remixers- some well established in the minds of trance enthusiasts, and others being relatively recent arrivals, hitting the cusp of their musical breakthroughs.

Having said this, this album amounts to one of the more refreshing releases of the year (2005). The mixing, while flowingly smooth, is adequate, but ultimately uninspiring. The track selection and sequencing, however, are consistently above average across the board. The tracks presented in this mix have the climactic and intense feel trance has come to embody, and, as mentioned before, is (generally) devoid of the squelching synth unpleasantness trance has also come to embody. The spectrum of emotion carried by these tracks ranges from driving moodiness, to euphorically atmospheric, so there's a little something for most trance enthusiasts on this album.

The first disc opens up with the Flash Brother's remix of Cassino & Laben's "Leaving Panic Behind", which is a good opener that sets an effective mood and groove to develop throughout the rest of the mix. We then mix into one of the highlights of the entire album, Alucard's gorgeous remix of "Sunscape". Here we are delighted to a beautiful Balearic-like experience, an experience that trance has proven itself capable of capturing time and time again. The pace and intensity is enhanced a peg or two with a track that apparently proved dominant in the trance world in 2005- Yilmaz Altanhan- Eighties (Ozgur Can remix). This track did exceptionally well in 2005, and with good and legitimate reason- it sounds outstanding, and its odd eclecticism works very much in its favor.

The pace is maintained and poised for development with "Sanctuary (Antidote's Tech mix)- a melodically fun track that would have probably worked better earlier on in the set . The rest of the CD, while flowing particularly well, passes by rather uneventfully- "Lost Cities" stands as a passable, but somewhat forgettable production, and Ferry Corsten's own Galaxia appears somewhat misplaced in this mix, as it captures that rather derivative sense of ultra-trance euphoria more than any other track on this disc. Closing the first disc is Corsten's bootleg of BT's "Force of Gravity", which is the original endowed with Corsten's signature hands-in-the-air climactic trance production sound that many have come to know (and perhaps dislike intensely). However, it isn't excessively prominent, and actually amounts to an enjoyable production that also ends the first disc on an effective note.

The second disc is personally that which I prefer when considering the album as a whole, as it consists simply of a larger number of more memorable tracks that also happened to be sequenced perfectly with each other. With respects to the matter of pace and intensity, the second disc appears to have been produced with the first in mind, picking up essentially where it left off. Consider the second disc the climactic pay-off to the first- the direction where the first had deliberately led up to. Faster, harder, and throbbing intense tracks is what we are presented with on the second disc.

The second disc opens up on a rather peculiar note, though, with the awkward and almost laughable vocals of "Lately", which would have functioned much more interestingly as simply being a dubbed version. The intro-track notwithstanding, Ronski Speed's 2day, although melodically uninteresting, provides an excellent lead into Dogzilla's "Without You". "Without You" provides an excellent example of the direction trance has apparently taken within the past year, fusing itself with conspicuous elements of House and Progressive House- the percussion of house, and the melodic mindfulness of trance. Definitely an excellent track that is well complemented by its vocals.

With Purple Haze's "Adrenaline" (a track that also did extremely well in 2005), we've become thoroughly involved in the "peak-time" tracks of the album, and "Adrenaline" certainly doesn't disappoint those who are interested in melodic and climactic track without the derivative silliness of many generic trance productions that have been released in the past. "Sublime" is perhaps the most outstanding release on the album, with its enormously captivating and atmospheric melody, sure to evoke a highly emotional response among many. Definitely one of the most remarkable collaboration projects Corsten has been involved in.

With the mix into System F's (Ferry Corsten) Underwater, we've extended beyond the half-way point, but unfortunately, we've also witnessed an end to the mostly exceptional streak of quality selection and sequencing that characterized the first half. With "Underwater", we have a considerably bland melody that grows increasingly tiresome the more repetitive it becomes. "Who's Knockin" is an uneventful vocal trance production (with what I find to be an asinine vocal sequence- you'll know it when you hear it) that denotes a noticeable sense of relaxation in the pacing of the set, which picks up slightly with "Blue Monkey", and leads into the disc's closing track, Passiva's remix of "A Place Called Home", which ends the disc and the album on a significantly high note. This track reflects the intent to capture a sense of emotional euphoria through some of the more typical trance oriented mechanisms and means of doing so, but unlike a myriad of typical trance releases, this accomplishes the task to enormous success.

So, when taking into account the various elements involved in the composition of this album, how does it stand up? Quite well, actually. This is a solid release that competently produces the sensation of proceeding through a journey of music- with highs and lows, with gentle atmosphere and hammering intensity. There are some unfortunate difficulties involved in this release, though, the most noticeable among them being the peculiar lack of sheer track quantity- there are only nine tracks on both discs, resulting in only 18 in total. The run time of each disc still doesn't sufficiently compensate for this absence of quantity, with the first disc consisting of 1:02.46 of content, and the second consisting of even less- 59:21. Why Corsten deliberately decided to include such a limited amount of content is unclear.

Secondly, there are a considerable number of stand-out productions in this album, but they are unfortunately, in some instances, detached from each other by a gulf of what are frankly mediocre tracks, resulting in a dramatic undermining of the consistent and engaging flow of attention grabbing productions that Corsten is capable of creating at some points on this mix album. However, these unfortunate elements become quite eclipsed by what is an overall fine track selection, and when Corsten finds his groove, the listener is simultaneously captured along with it. This CD is certainly recommended.

3 out of 5 stars Not very impressed.......2006-04-29

So, Ferry comes out with a cd just to make extra money is how I felt about this one. He is my favorite Dj, but I think this is not the Ferry that we know. I would not recommend purchasing this one and I would wait for 'Loud, Electronic, Ferocious' to come out.

5 out of 5 stars Ferry Corsten is Amazing.......2006-03-27

Ferry Corsten is one of the best Dj's in the world...period. No matter whether his tracks are chill or upbeat they will entertain you and keep you moving. What I hate about some "trance" fans is that they expect all the music from their artists to be ENTIRELY upbeat, and that would severely limit the artists creativity. That would be like asking Jordan to ONLY shoot his jumpshot, or for RODDICK to practice his serve and nothing else. A good artist will excel in various styles and will allow the listener to experience various emotions...this is what Corsten does! This is an amazing cd that I am sure you will enjoy. Ferry Corsten is my favorite DJ and he deserves all my praise for this album! Keep the trance scene alive!

4 out of 5 stars Not the best!.......2005-12-21

This track isnt one of the best albums, and theres not alot of tracks on it, I think Ferry should of pushed it to 10 tracks a disc. The tracks arent upbeat or loud or anything like that, I think its one of those albums meant for a lazy saturday afternoon.
