Again Warped Tour made an amazing compilation! It hits every band that america should listen to on the mainstream but refuses to listen to because of truth...we americans hate truth. I love this tour and these CDs so much because they remind me of all the great bands out there! now if only america would be more like me...kidding. But seriously, No seriously, These songs, Bands deserve tons of respect everything single band is worth listening to even if there "best" song isn't on the compilation.

I love this Cd. It's one of my top 10 favorite CDs in my collection of over 600. Every song is great, and i think i'll always own this CD. The reason i entitled this review "A Perfect Finish" is because this is the last decent Warped Tour comp that has been released to date, and none will ever top it.

Well I have to say that AFI made this comp worth buying. A Winters Tale incorporates everything about AFI that is great. Tsunami Bomb also has a strong showing and Bigwig had an awesome song. Rancids effort was sub par but they make up for it in their real albums

I went to warped tour last summer, and saw most of these bands, and loved them, and loved the cd almost as much, but in the last few weeks I have totally fallen in love with the ataris song on this album...the recording quality sucks, but it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life...it is worth buying just for this and the new found glory song, but all of them are great!

This 2 disc compilation of all aspects of alternative is a must-have for anyone that likes it. They managed not only to put ther best bands at the time (2004), on these discs, but they also scrounged up the very best songs. If there was one song that each of these bands would've played at the Grammys, (if the Grammys played alternative, which they don't) these would be it. Again it's all aspects of alternative. You have your general punk "Jersey", and then you have your emo "Lightweight Holiday" "Amber Pacific" and you also have your ska "Big D and the Kids Table" and you have your hardcore punk "From First to Last" and your 90's wave punk "The Casualties". If you love alternative theres nothing to not love about this. I bought this the first day it came to store and i still give it a good work-out in my cd player.

Well first off when i bought this cd like over a year ago.. i was just a greenday and Blink-182 junkie. had been for like 3 years. Then i bought this cd hoping to find some new bands and slowly started getting into other Punk/Emo/Alternitive/Screamo bands..

Which in time introduced me to other bands and now music is my life and i have over 3,000 songs in little over a year so ya this cd hits home for me and i sugest it and its 2003 and 2005 counterpart.. well im sure all of them but those are the ones i have to anyone... also this review really bugged me...

********Um I liked this CD, but really I was expecting more. More Punk Rock, the magority of the 52 songs are hard rock. Like From Autoum to Ashes, they're like hard rock. The only real punk rock is the New Foud Glory, Coheed and Cambria, NOFX, Flogging Molly, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, and some others. But most of its hard rock. If you classify some of the songs on the cd punk rock, you dont know punk rock you freakin poser. I bought the cd at Best Buy expecting it to be great, and for 5 dollars it seemed great. The punk rock thats on it is good, but some of the music just dosent cut it. Another thing I found lousy about this Cd is that they didnt have all the bands that where even at the Warped Tour, where was Senses Fail and Story of the Year and Hidden in Plain View?, are they not good enough. They should have gotten rid of all the crappy hard rock and put these great bands in their place. I gave the CD 3 stars, I am figuring that its a fair grade for a CD that isnt what it should be, but then is what it is and is good at it. I would recommend buying this CD, but if you truely are a punk rock fan dont expect the punk you deserve on the Warped Tour.*******

A) Autumn to ashes isnt hardcore its screamo so he doesnt know what hardcore or screamo is
B)Coheed, TBS, And THursday are emo not punk
C)He says he only likes punk but is wishing that senses fail, Hidden in plain view, and Story of the year was on there all emo just contridicded himself again.
SO in escence he is an idiot who knows nothing of punk...

... I'm wondering why some of the bands that were there are not on this cd. I'm typing this up because I saw my favorite band there for the first time that summer. I'm talking about The Living End. These boys are extremely talented and (in my personal opinion) were one of the best bands there. Straight-up rock music with a lot of influences from the 50's and so on. Check for videos on Youtube (look for Tribute to Rock n Roll to see how good they can be). You'll see what I'm talking about.
Just getting word out for an under-appreciated band that definitely rocked one of the main stages on the 2006 Warped Tour

the 2006 edition of the warped tour compilation is totally cool, you have great bands like Moneen and Anti-Flag, 51 bands for $8 totally rocks.

I will confess, this is not traditional punk... but if you're like me, I wasn't that big of a punk fan... I didn't like the warped tour until last years cd. It's a very diverse cd.... it has music such as Relient K that are much less hardcore than normal punk bands, and Underoath, who stomp the [...] out of the punk bands. I was reading through these reveiws trying to see which songs I should listen to first ( I can't ever just dive into a cd, I need someone to tell me where to start) and I started to get really ticked off. People are complaining about bands not being "punk" enough and the tour having lost its credibility. Well, news flash people. Its about the MUSIC not the LABLES WE PUT ON IT!

If you want to hear some music that is rock, punk, gypsy, screamo, emo...just about any type of rock, you've got it here. I bought the '05 comp. and I loved it. It even led me to some great bands and I went out and bought their cd's so that I could hear more of them.

If you want to taste a little of everything, for dirt cheap, 8 bucks..51 bands..come on, even I-tunes can't beat that. This is def a CD for those who get in the pool at the shallow end and slowly walk deeper. Heck! Its for those who dive right in!

Its about the MUSIC, not LABLES!

...Good Charlotte and Sum 41? Um...does anyone else think that the Warped Tour has really let its pit monkeys down this time around? At least we've got Alkaline Trio, Flogging Molly, The Lawrence Arms, and Swingin' Utters on here. But damn...you really shouldn't be representing the mohawk-sporters with bands like Good Charlotte and Sum 41 on your CD, there, Warped Tour.

This CD is an intresting mix of Big bands/legends(NOFX,Alkaline trio etc...) and some smaller noname but awesome bands(Destruction made simple,Avenged sevenfold,and Sloppy meat eaters). They also got it good on the metal count this year with The used, Throwdown (favorite),A7X,and from autumn to ashes. Overall buy this album (7 buck).

This CD is a confusing mix of punk bands, from pop-punk's Sum 41 & Good Charlotte to punk favorites Alkaline Trio, Vandetta Red, & The Casualties to bands that I've never even heard of such as Unsung Zeros, Ozma, & Destruction Made Simple. I reccomend this CD if you're looking for new bands to like & listen to. Although it's a confusing CD, it gives you new ideas of just how deep you're going to go in the punk underground.

Some good tracks on here. Sunshine Highway, Poison, Beheaded, Bleeding Mascara, Yell Out, Selfish Man, Ray, Gyasi Went Home, By My Side, Dog Eared Page, all good entries. Some bad tracks too, but I won't mention Start Wearing Purple by Gogol Bordello because the song is great, and the band is great. Anyone who doesn't like Gogol Bordello has terrible taste in music and should probably kill themselves.

I was very dissapointed to read all these BAD reviews about the Warped Tour '05 Compilation. Allow me to set the record straight. The Offspring are one of the best bands of all times, and finally recorded a track especially for this cd. Already making this one better than the previous coupies. To add, we have some of the best punk bands of the past couple decades making a come back, and a couple great new bands. To explain this, We have MXPX, who have been around forever, but justifying their taste of punk to a more mature level that anyone can appreciate. The Dropkick Murphys, quite possible the best irish punk band of all times, with their most irish influenced song they have ever released. Plain White T's have always been a thrash emo sound. Except minus the thrash a little, an put in more of a indie sound. All changes made for a changing society. As for new day bands, Fall out Boy, they won't let any of their pop/punk fans down with the catchy "Saturday". From First to Last, let's just take hardcore and turn it into a roller coaster, this song is very unpredictable, and the sound is rad. The very only thing I can say was malfunctioned in the making of this album was the Gogol Bordello song. WE all know what "Track Skip" is. Enjoy the rest of the 49 songs.

This has to be one of my favorite warped tour comps. All the songs are great except the Offspring song "Beheaded".

yea, hmm, what can i say. justin sane, singer/guitarist from Anti-Flag on the front cover. and i think that may be george from the casulaties on the back cover. two punk bands, two good punk bands, and whats on the CD?...EMO. why advertise an emo cd with two punk people on the front and back cover? can you get any more controversial? i have to admit i do like some of the bands on the CD, good songs, good bands. i like it back in the day when there actually was punk bands on a CD that advertised punk people on the covers. if was justin sane, i'd be so ashamed to have my face on the cover of this CD. ever since last year, this CD, no tour, has gone down the drain, more and more crappier bands, and more and more controversy. whoever made this tour/CD is only looking for money and thats all he cares about, he doesn't care about the music.

I love almost all of the bands on here, and bought this CD with high hopes.

The chosen songs for this compilation, however, are below par. I can think of dozens more songs for almost every band that would have reflected their talent a lot better. If you're new to these bands, then you won't appreciate this album either, since only one or two of the songs are any good or do the bands justice.

If you really want a punk rock compilation, then I'd get something from the Rock Against Bush series, or Punk-O-Rama. This one really doesn't cut it, not in terms of their choice of bands, but in terms of their choice of songs.

This was a good album and it potrayed alot of what the vans warped tour is about but it left out some of the best bands that were on tour with them (Deftones,grinspoon,rancid,reverend horton heat...) i think they should have been mentioned in this cd.

This is a pretty good comp, but it could be a lot better. For one the sellouts(bosstones) shouldn't be on it. A lot of good bands from the warped tour were left out, and this was meant to capture the essence of the tour. It didn't.

Incase anybody hasn't noticed, all of the songs on this incredible CD were used in the popular Mortal Kombat arcade games, namely MK II and MK III. If you have Mortal Kombat Trilogy on Playstation, then you already own this CD. Just stick it in your CD player and you'll be surprised to find that the Playstation game is also an audio soundtrack --- 'A Compilation of Warped Music'!!! Every track on this artistically 'warped' album are well-done and enjoyable. This is simply the killer Mortal Kombat Trilogy soundtrack, just with a different title. The Bottomline: I LOVE THIS DISC!!!! GET IT!! It'll warp your mind!

The reason I gave this CD 4 stars is because the songs are not recorded from Warped Tour, and most aren't even live. Other than that, it's a good array of styles, ranging from Pennywise to Amazing Royal Crowns. It also has an enhanced feature, with cool footage of skaters. Buy this if you like pop-punk, ska, and the intense energy of Warped Tour.

Warped Music II is a very good compilation CD with a nice mix of styles (Ska, Hardcore, Emo [sort of], and, of course, Pop-Punk). The best tracks being MXPX's 'Party, My House, Be There', Riverfenix's 'Speechless', Blink 182's live "Apple Shampoo', Pennywise's 'Just For You', and Frenzal Bomb's 'Never Had So Much Fun', though most of the CD is very good. Definately worth the price, especially if you are a pop-punk fan.

I went to the warped tour this summer and this cd brings out the magic of the tour. It has grat live tracks by Blink 182 and MxPx. It has some great hardcore too. H2o is great for any hardcore fan.It is a great cd for its price. This cd is a must buy for any punk fan.

I got it a month ago and i havnt stoped listing to it sience. Its got everything from ska (less than jake) to hardcore punk (H20). If you are into the punk/ska scene that this cd is a must.
