They finally out did Mostasteles! .......2007-07-16
In my opinion, this cd is a masterpiece, mostly because of their new producer Seven. Anybody who listens to Tech N9ne knows that this guy has got skill. Most of the guests work great on this cd, especially the Dayton Family. I was a little disapointed the the songs they did with Proof and Bizarre but other than that every song is banging. Aftering hearing this, The Tempest and the sampler for Blaze's "Clockwork Gray" 2007 is looking like Psychopathic's best year for music since the late 90's. Highly recommended.
not bad at all.......2007-07-12
at first listen, all i was hearing was the other rappers on the album which made me think the cd wasn't good. i stopped and thought about what monoxide said on the man's myth dvd about not doing collaborations after seeing that nobody really took notice of the guests on the green book cd. i also stopped to think about the title of the cd. being that it's called independence day, i found the cd to be totally dependent on other rappers making tracks work. but after listening to it more and more i find myself really enjoying the cd. the guests on the cd aren't as overpowering as i found them to be at first. the beats are all pretty hot. kinda got that west coast feel to them. raw deal is a hot song. the lyrics are really good plus jamie and paul's skills really shine through. there's maybe 1 throw-away track but overall its a solid cd. its not their best work but its definitely worth picking up. get ready, the legendary dead man is on the way 8/21!!!
Another Twiztid Masterpiece.......2007-07-10
Juggalos and Non Juggalos will find this album very impressive, you see rap music nowadays has sold its sole to the devil and its all the same beat same bullcrap lyrics, This album is in the realms of original rap. amazing lyrics and beats with hook ups with the late Proof and the ICP Orhcastra.
Trust me this album is truly amazing please give it a go.
T-W-I-Z-T-I-D.......2007-07-10
Its always a good day when a new Twiztid album emerges from the depths.
This album was originally supposed to have a guest artist on every track. To my surprise there are 4 tracks with no guests. While each track is equally fresh with just Madrox & Monoxide, it's really cool to listen to these special guests show love to Twiztid the way they do. Especially when they've got monsters from the underground by the likes of The Dayton Family and Tech N9ne. Twiztid could have put another album out with just Jamie & Paul on every track but a few, but they did this album for themselves while at the same time still holding it down, sticking up, and showing love to their fans throughout the whole cd. Besides the usual suspects of Blaze, ICP, and R.O.C., there's a handful and a half of other guests. My favorite tracks are 1 through 14 with one of my favorite highlights being on "Sex, Drugs, Money, & Murder" when the infamous Shoe String & Bootleg from The Dayton Family show love and give props to Twiztid.
If you like Twiztid, you'll love Independent's Day. This cd introduced me to some other groups like (hed) p.e. and Potluck that I knew of from Subnoize but probably wouldn't have listened to if it wasn't for them having guest spots on ID.
Besides the very cool glow-in-the-dark album cover of the shot-up zombie-lookin' Uncle Sam. Inside the case reveals the release date of Blaze Ya Dead Homie's long awaited new project "Clockwork Gray" as well as shots of Twiztid with their new face paint and a fold-out poster.
Who Want To Go To The Ball.......I Do!!!!!!.......2007-07-10
I had highly anticipated this CD and it is definitely phat! The song "Welcome Home" is about us as juggalos who know each other as family and when we reunite, it is awesome! "Monster" talks about the angry person inside of us all, especially when no one understands us, it makes us want to scream when we are judged for no reason, only because we are different, see what I mean? We, as juggalos, develop another personality to deal with the B*llSh*t brought on by the world. "Sex, Drugs, Money & Murder" is sort of the trinity of man, if you will, not the trinity of religion, but the trinity of the flesh. It really is all about getting screwed over by a woman ( I guess the same goes for men, if you're a woman, or whatever your preference), I suppose whatever your drug of choice is, you can have sex with a special someone, but when you are screwed over by someone you love, you feel like making them feel pain too, The Dayton family shines like mad on this cut! "Hurt Someone" is straight gangsta! DJ Quik's mad flows about smokin is hot! Tha Dogg Pound is sweet on flowing about hurting posers. Twiztid shines on this, letting fake MFs know they will get blasted, if they are frontin'.
"Jus' Like Me" is sort of a family song, we, as juggalos, love to hang out, occasionally smoke(or not), get in mosh pits, and just hang with family, we are being ourselves and accepting each other for that, as well. "Buss Yo' Head Open" can be a homies jam! We all have our crew, clique, or family, that we would die for and would defend them too and Blaze's flows show how he will let MFs know how he will handle business when his crew is messed with! Twiztid is awesome on the chorus!
"Feel Me" is Twiztid's take on letting the world get to know them and anyone who is down can join the party! Amen to that, fo' real! "Raw Deal" is all about being a juggalo, I guess it is their version of ICP's Juggalo Family, but it's all about being yourself, an individual, till you die! "How I Live" is about spittin' flows for family! Givin' props to all juggalos who show mad love and respect (Dirty Dozen is phat on
this)(MMFCL!) "My Favorite" is about smokin' and also a history lesson on why they smoke trees. DJ Clay slams on the turn tables and supporting vocals, man, even though I dont smoke, it is still a phat song! I love the personification of making weed a woman, Mary Jane, if you will, LOL~!
"Weak Shitz Out" is about coming back hard and fresh! It's about letting everyone know whats up, especially with a new style and new sound, Hed Pe has mad instumentals on this, and the vocals by Hed Pe are stellar to say the least, hard and to the point! They (He Pe) also give a rock vibe to this song, amazing!. "Wet Dreams" is sort of a romantic song, LOL. It says how to romance a woman, ghetto style! Bizzare (of D12) is awesome with his mad affirmations! His flows are freaky as hell~! "Bury 'em All" Yes! Yes! Yes! It's a freaky tale of being paranoid and protecting yourself from bullsh*t in the world, Tech N9ne has sweet flows, especially when they rap along with Twiztid, Krizz Kaliko has mad vocals on the chorus and Jamie Madrox's flows are deep, fast and on point! (I would love to see this on a Tech N9ne CD!, in my opinion, this should have been on Tech N9ne's M.L.K. CD) Potluck & Underrated also spit some flows on this jam, especially about how sweet they can be on the mic! "Monster's Ball" is freaky party! When the lights are out, all the freaks and monsters come out of the woodwork! ICP on the chorus is phat! Jame Madrox has his fresh ride with zombies, vampires, and severed bitches and then being excited and scared, creepy! Violent J fuckin smokes the vocals on this, I love the way he had to die to go to the party!! Monoxide is sweet on his flows, the imagery in his parts is delightfully morbid! Shaggy 2 Dope is twisted on his dancing with the freaky zombie bitches and his description of the punch is sick! The ball is a mad party, who's coming?!!! Then to top the song off, they rock out with some mad guitar!
I don't usually get into Cds littered with guest stars, but everyone held their own on this and no one outshines the other! This whole Cd has it all, imagery, sickness, devotion, family love, I mean it is totally amazing and dare I say, Twiztid's best CD to date!

Album Description
You find yourself locked in place, bound by forces both familiar and frightening. A rumble, a tremble travels up your spine, a bass blast from supernatural speakers. Strobing lights blind your eyes, an unearthly spectacle beyond any made by man. Strap on your seatbelts, for you have entered... The Tempest.
You have reached a pinnacle, a peak in a journey that began years ago, when the Dark Carnival opened its gates and the Insane Clown Posse unleashed the Carnival of Carnage. That was the first of six mighty Joker's Card albums, a decade-spanning saga that climaxed with the platinum-selling Great Milenko and Amazing Jeckel Bothers, and wrapped with a vision of the afterlife, The Wraith: Shangri-La and Hell's Pit. The Joker's Cards had been dealt, but the Carnival carried on, as the caravan entered The Calm, 2005's record-breaking EP. That was just a prelude, an opening chapter to a new era for the Insane Clown Posse's Dark Carnival chronicle. The storm has loomed on the horizon, but now The Tempest is here...
Hold on tight, cuz that's not just your life flashing before your eyes. It's a story of life, death, sin and redemption, conducted in the clouds by the Insane Clown Posse, and you're about to drop in. get ready to ride the wind...

HOLY COW! "YOU CAN DANCE TO IT!" ICP is B-A-C-K!.......2007-07-08
I have to admit it.
I only bought this album because I knew that Mike E Clark had hooked up with ICP again.
After wasting money on The Wraith and The Calm....well, all I can say is that I really don't like throwing money at guys who are just barely trying.
BUT...
THIS ALBUM RE-ESTABLISHES AND RE-DEFINES ICP + Mike E Clark.
Believe it or not, Violent J ...and Shags actually sing on this album ...and it ROCKS.
There are some genuinely EXCELLENT "tunes" on this CD....
And while Violent J and Shags have both mellowed a bit...they can still produce BRILLIANT "NUTTY" material when they want to.
I really enjoyed this CD...and I think you will too!
It's DEFINITELY a KEEPER!
i really liked this album .......2007-05-22
icp for the most part has disappointed me in the past with the releases of abk,amb and Esham. but i have to say this album is up there with the Jeckel Brothers era.
Much better than the Calm........2007-05-10
(This review is for Juggalos, it ain't for people who just want to hear some pop BS rapping about rims and BS. So if you like Mush Mouth, AKA 50 pennies, you won't like the ICP. Oh and Quit snitchen!
<:-D)....
On to the review, this wan an excellent CD. With The Calm many people were jumping off of bridges saying "ICP sucks now!" ect... Well F you if you were saying that sheet moron! They have made more god dammed CDs than any other artist out there, they are like dope fiends who need a hit and the only way to get that hit is by making CDs, so naturally when you make as many as they do, one or two will not be the best CD out there. "But what about us, we paid good money for this CD?" If you have not learned now to steal CD's (because the artists still get paid), you're a lame.
OK really on to the review.
Songs
The Sky is Falling: ***** Excellent intro, makes you want to sing this drunk reaking of alcohol while carrying a baseball bat.
Ride The Tempest ***** This one makes you want to speed, drunk, driving the wrong way down a major street, another excellent song.
Alley Rat **** Some reason this song reminds me of the 80s, not a bad song. It is good.
Haunted Bumps *** It is OK.
Growing Again ***** A good storytelling type song. This is where ICP excels in the music industry, they tell a story the best.
Hum Drum Boogie ***** Their token hilariously sexually explicit song on their CD. Very entertaining.
I Do This! ***** I love this song, I just friggin love it.
What About Now *** It is OK.
Watch My Ride **** Nice anger song, good to listen to when you are hungry for a fight.
News at 6 O'Clock ***** Excellent song. Good commentary on our society, especially important with the recent VA Tech Shootings.
The Tower ***** Great anger song. Reminds me of my Iraq war Vet friends.
The Party ** Shaggy really likes house, I like house but ain't in love with the whole DJ scene. I still lub em, but I just ain't digging it. Maybe others do, if so good for them. This is just a personal taste thing to me.
B---- I lied ***** A song that is core to juggalo ideology with regard to anger over being rejected by these sl-ts. Excellent song to listen to while thinking about some chick who pissed you off.
Play My Song **** Another good song to listen to while in a violent mood.
Mexico City ***** I love this song, when I get caught with some felony, I will be listening to this song while taking the Greyhound South.
If I Was a Serial Killer ***** A song that juggalos will be holding lighters up to. I love this song and play it at least 10 times a day.
Over all, Tempest is a ***** 5 Star Album. Mike Clark makes a hell of a comeback, you can really here it in this CD. It reminds me of the good Ole days.
THE CLOWNZ ARE BACK NINJA STYLE.......2007-05-10
What can I say but a brilliant album. from start to finish. I recommend this. Juggalo or not.
The Tempest is bumpin'!!!.......2007-04-30
Now, all you haters of this album, come on if you don't like it then you're not a real juggalo. Mike E. Clark provides ICP with some different funk and sounds, it's got it all-the wicked rhymes, the happy rhymes, the storytelling, tight beats, rock beats, and shaggy scratching it up. It's another classic in ICP's catalog!!! I'm going to the show in Norfolk at the end of May biatches it's gon be tight!

Didn't live up to my expectations. .......2007-07-16
I loved The Harvest and was expecting Punkinhead to be a great addition to Boondox's catalog, but to me, it falls flat. It's probably the darkest release that Psychopathic has had out in years, but to me nothing really stands out. I like Sleep Stalker, but other than that, the rest of the songs are just mediocre. Boondox is working on his next full length album which is due out sometime in 2008, and I expect him to return to full freshness.
Indeed, Boondox is the future of Psychopathic Records..........2007-05-25
I was totally blown away by Boondox's debut record. Boondox is definitely the best thing going at Psychopathic Records and I see him as the future of the label.
"Punkinhed" would have to be one of the strongest EP's ever realeased by Psychopathic. All of the songs are awesome and very refreshing (my favs. being Punkinhed, Suffering, and Southern Nights). Even the two remixes on this cd are really good, which is a rare thing these days.
In conclusion, Boondox is indeed the future of Psychopathic and this EP is a good appetizer until he releases his next full-length album. Definitely worth it for the price.
a good EP for the price .......2007-05-22
i liked the EP but i only liked 2 out of the 7 songs "Punkinhed" and "Southern Nights" boondox is a good add to psychopathic records but he does stand up to for more artists like anybodykilla(abk) but over all its was worth the cash i spent to get it.
Backwoods Philosphy Passed Down Through The Ages.......2007-05-11
Boondox's Punkinhead EP will keep you listening and in anticipation for his next project.
There are 5 new tracks, well 4 minus the Intro, and 2 remixes from The Harvest. This EP is short and devastating.
"Resurrection" is a short scary intro warning of what inevitably leads to the resurrection of a nightmare.
"Punkinhed" is the devastating title track. Boondox captured the legendary monster and wrapped the beast up into an amazing track. If Pumpkinhead could have written a song and rapped about where he came from, it would sound similar to this.
"Sleep Stalker" is along the same lines as ICP's "Sleep Walker", in it Boondox doesn't want to go to sleep because he wakes up to murder scenes and has the same problem as Violent J did where every time he falls asleep or closes his eyes somebody dies. Violent J comes in on the chorus for this track.
"Southern Nights" took a few listens but it's another cool track, there's a really good dueling harmonica and sliding guitar break in this song that's awesome and Violent J's all over this track.
"Suffering" is another great track, it has the same feel as "She's in the River" from The Harvest. In the song Boondox has a love interest and keeps her close by, torturing and making her suffer before she ultimately meets her untimely death, I must say Boondox comes off as quite the lady's man on these types of tracks.
REMIXES
"They Pray With Snakes" & "Seven" - I cant say enough about these remixes, they're remixes of tracks that are already great, some may look at the song list and see these tracks as filler tracks for the cd, but no, these remixes are amazing just like the rest of the entire Punkinhed EP, they're not to be overlooked because they complete the album and go over nice with the EP as a whole.
Overall, Boondox's Punkinhed EP is extremely dark and wicked.
Pumpkinhead himself would have to give Boondox props for the justice he gave to this legendary monster.
Boondox=Future of Psychopathic Records.......2007-05-09
Boondox is the best thing Psychopathic Records has to offer these days, sure ICP and Twiztid are still capable of dropping a decent track but as anyone who has purchased their latest albums can tell you their album quality is starting to waver. I think the 'Tempest' only had two songs worth listening to. Boondox on the other hand has yet to record a bad song. His first album 'The Harvest' was an instant classic and I was kind of concerned that his next work wouldn't be able to live up to its greatness. Boy, did he prove me wrong. Ok, yeah...This isn't a full album...It's an EP...but there still is not a single bad track on this disc.
PunkinHed has seven tracks (an intro, two remixes, and four new tracks) and as I've already stated, not one of these can be considered bad. I've been bumpin' Sleep Stalker and the Seven Remix non-stop since I broke the plastic.
BUY THIS CD! It is a must for all rap fans especially Juggalos.

Green Book, Shangri-La, and Repentance.......2006-07-02
Twiztid did the Green Book. This was a collection of more personal songs. That's why it's very different.
It's very different from other Twiztid CDs.
For one, it's very off/odd when Psychopathic make sad songs. I thought all of their good songs can be played live. When you listen to good Psychopathic, you don't leave depressed.
What sucks truly sucks about The Green book. It's all the hype. The hype was better than the CD itself.
It's got a couple of really good songs on it though. Marsh Lagoon is a hell of a good song. That song and the artwork/booklet is the reason you should buy this CD. It's too depressing.
Twiztid the green book.......2006-05-03
whats up
this is one of my favorite twiztid cds. i love it. its great from start to finish. twiztid really is a very talented rap duo and know how to make a good song. my favorite song on this album though would have to be white trash wit tat 2s...its great. afraid of me is also another favorite. but all the songs are great. support real music and buy a psychopathic album, you wont regret...this is real music, not like some of that other crap on the radio. a must buy for all juggalos. MCL to all the juggalo family. Psychopathic 4 life
Untalented hacks.......2006-04-17
First off, I like I.C.P. They are entertaining and are better than average mc's, However their counterparts are some of the worst song writers to ever touch the mic.
1st track has madrox trying to do a stupid voice for an intro and his monlogue was stolen from a description of the necronomicon in a cheap horror movie.
Second track has a headache guitar with a synth beat that sounds like somebody got bored and did it in their basement.
Third track has no point to it and is just a bunch of random lines strung together with no concept or purpose. If you don't have a concept it's not a song get over it punchline dorks.
Fourth track has them rapping about how bad life is for them with 1 decent metaphor by monoxide child, madrox's verse was just [...] and this concept in general is whiney garbage. not to mention the beat sounds like something done with a casio board and a bunch of noises looped together.
fifth track has no real point but unlike the third is not made of punchlines but rather a bunch of irrelevant swill about being crazy and choking a woman out of anger... this is an attempt at teen angst and I'm sorry but their point of view is an self centered crybaby one. These guys are entirely self centered in their tracks and their world is probably as big as my thumb nail these aren't mc's.
sixth track is a decent intro for the next one(phone conversations)
7th track jamie madrox doesn't even have a flow they copied a second recording of him to finish a bar and monos has nothing impressive about it. Shaggy actually out flowed them and sadly the only thing twiztid can do is flow, without a decent rhythim they're below average because of their complete lack of song writing ability.
8th track has E-40 on it... It's automatically garbage, the most untalented west coast mc of all time. he has no flow, his bars are uneven and what he says is borderline retarded.
ninth track Is a bunch of crybaby lyrics about how bad the youth are and how their "lil time bombs just waiting to explode
and turn the world into a hole" Yeah the defintion of lyricism there, esham recycles lines and is still better with his imagery than they are.(perhaps thats because he uses world events and things people relate with due to his focus being beyond himself?)
tenth track horrible beat, horrible concept, horrible flow, horrible song.
eleventh track another weak attempt to be scary with random lines and no real apparent point/concept.
track 12 Tech n9ne Has a great flow, unfortunately his lyrics are horrid and his only 1 liner is about how he "is set to gangrene"
You're set to ill? then go back to 1995 when rappers still said stupid one liners like that.
The whole track stinks really though, a song about serial killing and how they love to do it wooohoooo nothing repetitive about this album *roll eyes*
Next track is about killing people and dumping them in a lagoon.
They stink awful on it and violent J outshines them.
14th track has a guitar on it and some screaming along with two incoherent verses, each void of any real connection to the other, mono raps on one and the other is madrox croaking(though he may try to say it was singing)
15th hydro almost decent track except that they recycle a chorus from an old song and bone thugs in harmony are some of the worst rappers of all time. especially layzie who is the one featured on this track, I cannot understand hardly anything he says and what I could understand sounded like something an 8 year old could write.
sixteenth track madrox was mediocore, mono used a cheesey voice effect and blaze who just recently started writing his own lyrics(thank god madrox is horrid at them) blows twiztid out of the water.
seventeenth track madrox has a great verse(the only one on the album imo)then comes in mono who was completely off subject then abk and the midget finish off the track and sink the ship known as the green book which even a variety of guest appearences couldn't save.
eighteenth track This is perhaps the most unfunny song I have ever heard and I hope jamie hit with something hard for recording it.
19th well another horrorcore song with a cheesey story line amusing
20th Darkness, you're dark oh wow the amazing song writing ability here, not to mention the inability to mix the song or even write in music that actually plays something decent as opposed to a repetitive unskillfull bunch of power chords.
Bottomline This isn't mostastless and mostastless isn't that good.
This is the most expensive coaster I own, psy has two solid acts in icp and blaze.
Twiztid needs to just go away they wont be missed by this reviewer.
A really great album brought down by really bad guest appearences........2006-02-06
This is a great cd. No doubt about it. But on songs like "Hydro" where we have some guy no one has ever heard of trying to rap, it just sucks. Almost all of the guest appearences on this cd suck. Except for ABK and Tech n9ne. ABK has a good verse, but his really squicky voice just sounds out of place with Blaze and Twiztid. One thing this album really does right is the production. All of the beats are great. But it seems like on some songs there are just too many sound effects and it makes it hard to hear Madrox/Monoxide. My favorite songs are "White trash wit tat 2s", "Afraid of me"( perhaps the deepest song Twiztid has ever written. It's funy because I feel the same way.)"U don't wanna be like me", "Fat Kids", "nikateen", and "Darkness".
If you are a fan of Twiztid, definately check this (...)out.
It grew on me.......2006-02-05
When I first listened to this cd I hated it because most of the beats are subpar, and Twiztid tries to do a lot of singing on this one. (Which if you've ever read any of my reviews you know I hate.) But, after listening to it a few more times, it grew on me a little. "Afraid Of Me" has some really deep lyrics on it (Especially from Monoxide.) and can be a pretty inspirational song. Mike E. Clark also made the beat for "Wondering Why" which kicks ass, and Tech N9ne and E-40 (which are probably my two favorite rappers) both make great guest appearances. Overall I think this cd could've been a classic because of all the great artists Twiztid was working with, but in the end they dropped the ball with a lot of wack beats. (Serial Killaz is an example.) Looks like we'll never see another Mostasteless.

Album Description
Size Does Matter Some rap acts come with expiration dates printed on their careers, but this musical force will never spoil! Countless years as an Iron Chef of Underground Music have seasoned his style to a simmering perfection. His talent's as big as he is, whether it's laying down tracks or pounding Big Macs. His first solo album is titled Phatso, and it's just that - Phat! Phat-man anger and a bellyful of emotion can be felt in evry lick and lyric, while his distinct voice, intense flows, and patterns of attack rap squeeze listeners to the edge of their seats. Despite eight years with Twiztid, and the five national releases under his plus-size belt, Jamie Madrox is rap music's best kept secret - though he doesn't seem to mind! A big man with a big voice, he's hard to miss, but he hungers for entertaining and educating, rather than streamlining to the mainstream for a quick sale. Phatso puts Madrox in the solo spotlight, and he's showin' off more than his girth! It' s a showcase for the humor at the heart of Twiztid. It also affirms the bond between Madrox and his fans, one as mystical and enchanting as the music he offers them. Phatso hits the gut like a thug doughnut, like an entertainment entree with insight sauce and a side of irony, like a superstar sundae with bitchslap on top. If you're not smackin' your lips, Phatso will do it for you!

Best Psychopathic album ever!!!.......2007-04-21
This is by far the best psychopathic album ever released. Riddlebox is now in second place. Madrox schools ever other artist on psychopathic with this album. Beats are bangin' and lyrics are flawless! Great flows and he mixes funny with wicked. Best songs are This B*tch and Hey Phatty. Great album by the best rapper of our time. Madrox is so under rated. I wish for his sake he would blow up huge but not lose his soul in the process. Buy this album, best rap album ever made!
2006 is the year of the Hatchet.......2006-07-07
Before recently, I didn't think much of Madrox. He had some tight rhymes but I was feel Monoxide more lyrically. But after hearing Madrox on "Call Upon Your Gods", I realized he was one of the best on the Hatchet.
Phatso is pretty fresh. It blows AMB's album outta the universe (no offense to them). Every track will blow your mind. Madrox comes correct. I would also suggest you try to buy the Earth 2 Phatso version off the internet or something, as it has other songs and other guests.
I recently saw Twiztid in Iowa, and was a lil disappointed when I found out Monoxide wouldn't be there cuz of medical problems. But Madrox and Blaze tore it down straight up. I loved it!. Juggalo 4 Life. MCL
4. 75 STARS.......2006-06-19
This album is awesome. My fave tracks are "Freak Out", "This B***h", "4 Fist, 2 Axe- Handles", "Tear Jerker" & "Take It 4 What It Iz". Psychopathic have changed their style alot though recently. Their music just isn't near as wicked as it used to be. Although I think their old style is way better, their new stuff is still good aswell. Highly recommended to all juggalos and juggalettes.

Madrox Comes Out Strong.......2006-06-10
This album was a lot better then I actually expected it to be. I was dissapointed with Twiztid's last two albums. Don't get me wrong I love Psychopathic and will keep on buying every CD that they put out. I thought Freakshow was a masterpiece. The best tracks on this cd are Hey Phatty, Keep On, and Tear Jerker. I guess the biggest problem that I have with this CD is the music. I was never a big fan of Fritz the Cat who produces a lot on this album. As far as the lyrics go Jamie Madrox delivers. Overall I think this album is worth getting especially if you like any of Twiztid's albums.
Hardcore rap at its best.......2006-06-08
Madrox always has been one of the best rappers out. This album is the best he's released to date and that's saying a lot considering Twiztid is the sh@@! If you don't like this album, then you are a fairy.

Album Description
2 Dope solo. Jumpin' out in front, and all 'cross the mixing board with this one. It's fluid flows and even beats, then staccato screamin' or hard headbangin'. He's an O.G. gangbanger, spittin' street stories, keepin' it all kinds of real. He's the old-school angry Shaggs, a smooth smartass, and the wry, ruthless, rapper the fans have grown to love. He's funny, f**ked-up, and fresh, and puttin' it down the way you love, a way you ain't ever heard it before. Believe that. Musically he's hittin' from all directions, with straight-up classic samplin', Klub cuts, and all-original beats, with a lick of guitars in the mix. It'll have your hands in the air, quick like a stick-up, and they'll bounce, they'll wave, even throw up some devil horns. It's cruel, it's ruthless, and it's smooth like Zen Buddha. Shaggy's all over this one, with his homies in tow, featuring guest shots by the Psychopathic family.
He's one-half of the Insane Clown Posse, droppin' his first solo album in 10 years, but that don't quite cover it...

Shaggy 2 Dumb.......2007-07-05
Yeah, I was kind of stoaked back in February to obtain my copy of the so called "sequel" to Fck Off and boy, was I dissapointed. Of course, like any psychopathic CD that comes out now there is bound to be at least one song on the CD that is actually worth listening too. I'm sure all you fanboys are willing to listen to this true Juggalo's words of truth. Enjoy:
1. Prequel 0/10: Take it, its a prequel to a CD which offers no musical talent. Thats right, your brain isn't lieing to you.
2. F#%k The F#%k Off 2/10: This is a good opening song, if shaggy rapped about new and interesting things I'd probably enjoy it more.
3. Keep It Scrubbin' 2/10: Different song, same meaning. Stay down with the clown, don't ever change. Forget that.
4. Forever & Always 0/10: Can't really say much about this song, repetitive vocals, beat could be a lot better. Chourus, way too repetative
5. Memories 0/10: The meaning of this song kind of got to me, but this is not music...and thats where I draw the line.
6. Make It Happen 0/10: You want me to make it happen? Your a fool, I'm not the one thats job is to impress countless thousands of drones and to persuade them to buy your merchendise. Not any more at least.
7. Meltdown 8/10: This is the song that got me to put 2 stars on the album. Songs funny, entertaining, and just a classic ICP song.
8. They Shootin' 1/10: Kinda fast paced, same Murder Go' Round meaning.
9. Half Full 1/10: Not worth my time
10. Always F#%kin' with Us (feat. Twiztid) 4/10: Twiztid did pretty well on this song I thought. But really, its not that great
11. Pull Me Over 1/10: Slow, has sort of a mellow feeling to it. Thats cool for, I don't know, Justin Timberlake but ICP? You gotta be a moron.
12. Ball Bounce -5000/10: This song is like Panties off of FF4, repetitive, offers no musical intelect, and the lyrics are down right TRASH.
13. Red Moon 6/10: Has a good sound to it, another classic feeling ICP song.
14. Owl Face Hoe 2/10: I thought this song was funny, not the lrics, how Shaggy has become such a fool that he can make a song so darn stupid to put it on his own album.
15. Cobwebs in my Attic 0/10: Cripity Crop
16. It's About Time 0/10: It's about time for you to get an actual job
17. Your Life 0/10: Always putting it on us, the consumer. Its your life that is messed up, not mine. The song is not music.
Well, after reading this review you'll probably still think I'M the retarded one. Thats cool, at least a retard is smarter than a detroit white person. Go Robocop! Get them criminals.
Amazing.......2007-05-10
Excellent Album, Shaggys Solo stuff just keeps getting better and better. Well worth the buy.
all bow down.......2007-03-10
ever since i first became a juggalo shaggy just stood out to me. he said less but it seemed to mean more. i like both the members of icp but 2 dope's name describes him soo well. in my opinion shaggy is the better of the two artist, he's a better mc and as far as i know the only dj of the two. he's deserved to be equal to jay but allways seemed to have lees involvement and now shaggy has showed the world what he's really capable of. he totally dominated on this, especially in the song meltdown. meltdown had one of my favorite base lines out of any song and the lyrics are straight from where the song describes.
It's Shaggs the Clown!.......2006-07-10
this is shaggy's first ever full length solo album and it definenatly doesn't dissapoint, i mean, how could it, ever song on it is fresh. pick up a copy today if u want to hear real music.
Family knows him personally.......2006-06-29
Shaggy is the bomb and hears why. My family knows his family personally. He is an extremely devoted family man. He would do anything for his wife and kids. They are together everyday. Even when he is on tour, his family is with him. I look up to him because even with all the fame and fortune he stays real and knows how to take care of bussines. Ive met his wife a few times and she is the bomb too. His kids are the coolest lil ninjas I ever met. He's got a great family, awesome career and good morals. He is definitely someone I look up to.

Good Appetizer 4 The Tempest.......2006-07-14
Forgotten Freshness Vol. 4, the 4th installment in the compilation releases ICP has put out throughout their career, is pretty fresh. There were some songs I wish they could have put on here, more rare ones ("50 Bucks", "Jacob's Word", etc.) but it's still fresh.
"The People" is a feel good opener showing love to the Juggalos, and about how ICP does everything for the Juggalos. "Clown Walk" is a short club joint about doing the clown walk lol. A lot of ninjas won't like it at first but after a while I grew to like it. "If I Was A King" is a fresh joint about what it would be like if J and Shaggz were kings. "Dear ICP" finally showcases some old school freshness. Basically people ask for ICP's advice (mainly Shaggy's) and he proceeds to give them real uh 2 Dope advice lol. "Mad House" is an alright track. It features Tech N9ne, who as always, rips the track to shreds. J and Shaggy's lyrics fall a little short on this one though. Still, it's fresh enough. "Feels So Right" is my favorite track off the album. For some reason, it was left off Hell's Pit. It is definitely that wicked/horrorcore stuff that ICP's known for. Definitely love it. Next is a remix of "Homies" which I still dig. I like both versions equally as they song itself is one of my favorites. I think "Staaaaale" comes next though I don't really wanna know. That is the only truly terrible song on the CD. I tried to like it but I find nothing really appealing about it. They basically talk about stale stuff and scream the word out every other second. "Bodies Fly" is an aight track which woulda fit Hell's Pit really well too. It's a simple plot about J and Shaggz seeing bodies flying into the sky and exploding. "Wicked Rappers Delight" is somewhat of a historical song. As far as I know, it is the LAST song ICP and Esham recorded together before Sham left the Hatchet and started dissing. It's basically a freestyle session between the three rappers and is pretty fresh. "Panties" is a 2 Dope solo that took me time to get used to. It's kind of pointless and stupid but after seeing him do it live, I came to dig it a lot lol. "If You Can't Beat Em Join Em" is another Shaggy solo basically from the old school days. Fun song to listen to and J comes in at the end to sing about coming to the Carnival. "Nobody Move" is a thugged out track straight up featuring Westside Connection's own Mack-10. J and Shaggz actually throw some pretty fresh gangsta rhymes, reminiscent of the Psychopathic Rydas days. Mack also rips it up (hearing him shoutin out the Juggalos and Faygo is fresh). "Yours Begins Tonight" took some time to get used to, but it's a pretty fresh track altogether. It's basically about your paradise beginning right in front of you. Really diamond rain days type stuff but fresh nonetheless. Next is the remix to "CPK's" which I think is a lot better than the original. I never liked the old beat, but this one by Mike E. Clark blows it away. "Swallow This Nut" is a fun song to listen to featuring Fresh Kid Ice, Fish N Grits, MC Breed, and Vanilla Ice. Umm the title says it all.
Basically this serves as a good appetizer for The Tempest, which is bound to destroy the competition altogether.
MIND BLOWING.......2006-04-27
This Forgotten Freshness is simply put...the sh*t. It's the best installment of FF yet, some let me just rate track-by-track this compilation of mind blowing freshness:
1. Intro - This was first featured on the Tunnel Of Love EP as a hidden track. Awesome intro for what's in store for FF4. 5/5
2. The People - A clown luv dedication to the Fam. It don't get no better than that. 5/5
3. Clown Walk - I'm glad ICP decided to release this, this track is THE BOMB!! I even got my own dance to it haha... only thing bad about it is that it's way too short, but that's okay. 5/5
4. If I Was King - Hilarious track about when ICP would do if they were kings. Has a catchy chorus, but not the best on FF4. 4/5
5. Dear ICP - Some old school ICP for that @$$!!! Enough said! 5/5
6. Madhouse (w/Tech N9ne) - ICP of course is this shiznit, and Tech N9ne is the shiznit, so when they collabo on a track, KA-BOOOOM! Instant freshness. 5/5
7. Feels So Right - Why was this kept off of Hell's Pit? It would have fit in so perfectly with the dark and evil themed Hell's Pit. But hey I'm glad it's been released nonetheless. 4.5/5
8. Homies (w/Twiztid) (Mike E. Clark Mix) - This version of Homies blows the version on Shangri-La outta the water! Mike E. Clark just has a nitch for making ICP's music that much more fresh. He is the sh*t, and now that he's back, I can't wait to hear what magic he and ICP make on the Tempest. 5/5
9. STAAAAAAAAALE!!! - Kind of reminds me of Thy Staleness on Shangri-La. Not a bad track, but then again not the best either. 3.5/5
10. Bodies Fly - Another track that was kept off of Hell's Pit. This song is pretty fresh especially with the "Put yo hands in the air" part at the end, but like Clown Walk, it's a little on the short side. 4/5
11. Wicked Rappers Delight (w/Esham) - OMG...Freshness personified. ICP and Esham tear it up on this track, and the beat is very very catchy. I love to rap to it myself. Wicked fresh. 5/5
12. Panties - 2 Dope solo track. This track would be alot better if it wasn't so repetitive. The music is different, a little clubby...but that's all good. Was supposed to have been on F.T.F.O., but ICP figured they'd feature a lil bit of that freshness on FF4. 4/5
13. If You Can't Beat 'Em, Join 'Em - Some more old school wicked sh*t for that @$$! Enough said! 4.5/5
14. Nobody Move (w/Mack 10) - Great collabo with Westside Connection's Mack 10. I went to the Hell's Pit tour in November of '04 and Mack 10 rocked the crowd. It's about time ICP and 10 hit up the studio together! 4.5/5
15. Yours Begins Tonight - A track that was left off of Shangri-la because I'm guessing they thought it was a little to positive. But it's an alright track, a little rock and roll diddy. I can't believe I just said diddy. 4/5
16. C.P.K's (Mike E. Clark Mix) - Look above at the review of Track 8. Same thing, M.E.C. just makes sh*t fresh! 5/5
17. Swallow This Nut (w/2 Live Crew, MC Breed & Vanilla Ice) - This track is unlike anything that ICP has done, music-wise anyways. This song is insanely catchy, and I find myself going alone with it. The only thing bad about it is the short length of the verses and the song overall...but once again, that's okay. 5/5
Juggalos, if for some reason you ain't got this, go get it. If you're broke, have a homie burn it for you...do somethin!!!! You gotta somehow acquire this in one way or another. MCL PEACE!
Forgotten Freshness Vol.4.......2006-04-07
This was an aight album, alot of tracks that the juggalos aint ever get a chance to hear before the corporate world yanked them... The first cd has a couple of tight remixes, and the second cd has all the hotness from Hallowicked... Not the best, definately better than the calm, and definately worth my money and yours.
The decay of ICP.......2006-03-01
ICP is and allways will be my favorite band but after the end of the Joker card era, their songs and records pretty much where bad... They only talk about sex and drugs, it looks like they are trying to look cool to stupid teenagers, in the begining they where like the "nerd gods" now they are trying to get another audience, wich is the oposite of the nerds or scrubs.. This is not a bad record, not at all, but it looks like they are trying to sell to more audiences, trying, fighting to get to a "pop" audience. And ICP allways hated that Pop audience, well i think this is it, the endo for icp, well lets see and wait for the tempest...
Best in the FF series yet.......2006-02-05
Forgotten Freshness 4 is my favorite Forgotten Freshness yet. We get a glimpse as to what the sixth joker's card could've sounded like with Mike E. Clark's remixes of "Homies" and "C.P.K's" which are both improvements over the originals. "If You Can't Beat 'Em Join 'Em" and "Dear ICP" are old school songs from ICP's heyday. Mack 10, Tech N9ne and Vanilla Ice all make great guest appearances on "Nobody Move," "Madhouse" and "Swallow This Nut" respectively. If this album is any indication, it appears that ICP's music is taking a turn for the better, and hopefully the Tempest will pull ICP out of the dark ages and remind us all of why we started liking ICP in the first place.

not a "psychopathic" fan, but.............2006-07-14
this cd is really good.... i dont know about anything else these guys have done after this effort, but I got this cd years ago at a store for 99 cents and I still rock it.... pretty crazy lyrics but original styles to say the least
Great twiztid cd!!!!!.......2006-05-02
twiztid is amazing group off the psychopathic record label. i love this cd...version 1 and 2 are great. but version 2 probably is better bc it has spin the bottle, the first song i ever heard by twiztid and ever since then ive been a major fan. of course any friend of icp is a friend of mine. these guys are so talented. all songs are great from start to finish. its a true masterpiece. a must buy for all juggalos and lettes. Support real music!!!. MCL for all the juggalo family. Well be down with the clown till were dead in the ground. later!!
I'm changing my opinion!.......2006-03-04
Both these Krackers have a better flow then M&M! Before I just said Jamie Maddrox had a better flow, but on further analysis it has been discovered that M&M aint ever the second best Kracker rapper from Detroit.
You only like M&M because of dre's beats! Admit it!
Serial killers can rap? .......2006-02-03
This cd is by far the best cd that psychopathic ever put out. I think the original version is slightly better, but the re-release is also very good. This was Twiztid at the height of their creative ability, not only lyrical but production wise as well. Twiztid produced a majority of the music on the album, and stayed more true to their rap roots. (Which is a good thing.) In other releases since Mostasteless, Twiztid has experimented with rock in their music, and I've always thought Twiztid is at their best when they stick to wicked rap. Anyways, all songs on this cd are great, and this will stay in your cd player for a long, long time.
toledo's east side latina-juuggalette.......2005-12-22

What happened?.......2007-01-06
I love ICP, but honestly, what happened with this cd? It has a couple good songs, but seriously, Hell's Pit should've been the 6th joker's card.
This cd sounds completely different. It's more rock than anything. Weird Rock... sorry J and Shaggs, 3 stars.
The best Joker's Card, the Wraith........2006-09-26
First off, I'd like to say that anyone listening to this album that hasn't heard ALL of the other Joker's Cards has no chance of liking this album. Sure, you'll like a track here and there, but only once you've heard all the others will you fully understand how excellent of an album this is.
This being the last Card and all, ICP obviously had a lot of ideas over the years for this album, so it's very well rounded. There are all types of songs on here, like humor, meaning, and even an interesting story.
There is another album done by ICP called "The Wraith", but that's Hell's Pit, and this is Shangri-La, so it'll be focused on heaven. Plus some songs using the style that the Insane Clown Posse is generally known for, like "Birthday B*tches", "Get Ya Wicked On", and "Cotton Candy & Popsicles". I'm not going to say much more about this album, as a lot of it will be up to you to find out yourself after listening to everything else first.
I do recommend this, but only after you hear all of ICP's other work.
the end of time will consume us all.......2006-05-31

One of their best - no questions asked........2006-05-15
First off, I would like to say that I don't know what everybody hates about this album because this is the one where they explain everything, and more. It's different, but it's the meaning that counts. Also, look at albums like Carnival of Carnage - it was an empty album by itself, but everyone liked it once they knew what ICP was up to. Getting to the good about this album, it leaned a little more toward rock than the other ones did, but it's the most meaningful and conceptual. Plus, they add fun tracks here and there, like Murder Rap. The tracks on here aren't pointless. This album is ICP's vision of heaven, and it also tells everything about the Dark Carnival. If you look at the other version of the Wraith (Hell's Pit), then you will find that both of these albums are visions of heaven and hell, both of which are very bold visions, at that. This version of the Wraith was for the Juggalos who actually understand the viewpoints of the music, and Hell's Pit is for the rest of the world (in the words of Violent J, a place for those who chose to give a f**k less.) Personally, I think Shangri La and the Amazing Jeckel Brothers are the best albums by ICP. Here's the order of the cards best to least in my opinion:
The Wraith (Both)
The Amazing Jeckel Brothers (Tied with the Wraith)
The Ringmaster
The Riddle Box
Carnival of Carnage
The Great Milenko
If you want to know the meaning of everything after hearing the joker's cards, get this album - it's worth it.
Well, the bonus Gathering footage was cool..........2006-04-30
I need to get this out of the way before I go on with the review: I'm reviewing this album not as a Juggalo. I haven't been down with ICP since the very beginning when they were Inner City Posse. I haven't followed them through their entire career, collecting every album on every format possible, buying all the shirts and hats, or reading their comics. I've only been an ICP fan for about 5 years in all honesty. I haven't heard all their albums, but I like what I have heard. So know that this won't be a biased review where I go "if u liek da ICP u hav 2 luv dis". Truth be told, I couldn't wait for this album to come out. Rumors that this would be their final album, that there'd be another version to come out a week later, there were tons of rumors. On the Gathering of the Juggalos bonus disc that came with mine, Violent J finalized everything. It was unfortunate that I didn't get to hear that until I got it with the album here. But after giving Shangri-La a listen when it first came out, and still trying to get into it, I just can't give this album 4 or 5 stars. It's not that good. The music sounds cheap, the rhymes lack substance, there's hardly any Shaggy (something I've noticed since Jeckel Brothers), and J sounds bored for the most part. Add in that the album's too long for its own good, and you've got something that you kind of have to force yourself to listen through, and a sad end to one of this generation's most controversial music acts.
The album starts out good- an introduction to the carnival by the same zany high-pitched voice (sounding like Invader Zim) that's been in a lot of ICP's albums. The music for this track is ok, but when J and the others start to sing the chorus and sound bored off their asses, I began to worry. To be honest, none of the songs are memorable up until Birthday B*tches, where the good is outweighed by the bad. There are really only a couple of good tracks on this album. Most of them sound the same, have this dreary "rock" guitar riff going on, and J has the same tone in his voice in nearly every track. It took them how many years to do this, and this was the best they could do? Maybe another year in the studio could've helped. You know how you usually get a laugh or two out of most ICP tracks? Yeah, there's none of that until Birthday B*tches. And that song's only about 2 minutes long. After that, Blam!! is a pretty cool track hindered by the damn guitar riffs in the background. Skip ahead past the filler tracks and make it to Homies, which is an overall nice song about ICP's buddies who've been with them, and who will always be true friends. This is a great track, but it does start to suck when Twiztid kicks in. Ain't Yo Bidness and We Belong are two of my favorites on the album, and should've been placed near the beginning to make up for the sub-par tracks after the intro. Crossing the Bridge is excellent. It has yet another "rock" riff, but it's not annoying! It adds a lot of mood with scratches and open frets as J talks about how him and Shaggy have never had it easy. This is an inspiring track to say the least. More filler after this, but the final track: The Unveiling, is something that no one expected. I don't know if I should say what the Dark Carnival really is or not, for those who haven't heard by now, but it's not what you're expecting, especially that it's ICP who reveals what it is. This had many "true fans" freaking out and leaving ICP for dead. Honestly, I was kind of pleased to find out what it was. It shows that they have a side to them we didn't know about all along.
I wanted to like this album. I tried to kid myself and say it was one of their best when it first came out (aw c'mon, I was 17 at the time) mostly to not seem like an outcast to my other ICP fan friends. But after that initial listening, I've seen it for what it really is, and that's sheer averageness. But one of the main reasons to get The Wraith when it first came out was to get one of two variants: one with a bonus concert and the other with the Gathering speech. I opted for the Gathering footage because of how awesome it was to see J going over ICP's history in a literally once-in-a-lifetime event perspective, and talking about when the album was going to drop and what its name would be. From what I hear, the bonus concert version was pretty lame. The guys screwed up on some songs, and the audio quality was poor. I haven't seen it yet, and don't really want to, especially given how awesome the Gathering is. I'm sure you can download either one by now since it's been almost 4 years since the album came out. Also, the booklet for Shangri-La is probably the best of all the Joker's Cards. It has lots of cool photos of J and Shaggy (even one with Alex at the end) in angel outfits while carrying bloody weapons. Also included is the story of the Butterfly which J's mentioned for many years now.
Maybe the "real Juggalos" can kid themselves and add deeper meaning to this album than what's really there, but truth be told- this is a terrible album to claim as a Joker's Card, and a terrible start if you're new to ICP. Go for Carnival of Carnage, Bizaar, The Riddle Box or even *GASP* The Great Milenko for some of their finest stuff. I haven't heard Hell's Pit yet, and don't really want to since it's the sequel to this album, only "darker". That means they'll be trying too hard if you ask me. Only pick this one up to hear the select few good tracks or if you -need- all the Joker's Cards.

Album Description
Insane Clown Posse has made a career out of their ongoing Six Jokers Card Saga, a morality tale illustrating the perils of a sinful life. The capstone of this story was a set of the two albums, The Wraith: Shangri-La and The Wraith: Hell's Pit, each dealing with the benefits and pains of the afterlife. Along the way, ICP has had no small share of guest artists participating in this saga, bringing the talent of the industry's greatest artists to bear. The result has been nothing short of a phenomenon, earning ICP a legion of dedicated hardcore fans as well as 7 gold and 2 platinum albums. Now, to celebrate the final chapter of the Jokers Card Saga, the Insane Clown Posse has again put forth a challenge to the greatest musicians of the underground. Bringing in talent from all over the world, ICP proudly presents The Wraith: Remix Albums, a two-CD -set featuring featuring tracks from both The Wraith: Shangri-La and The Wraith: Hell's Pit! The Wraith: Remix Albums is a culmination to a storyline that has spanned over a decade - a decade displaying the creative force of the largest underground music sensation that ever was. i reckon it was a good idea for icp to do this they dnt remix much of there music.
mike e clark is a god on this.
kottonmouth kings remix are awesome also the wolfpac remix are cool.
any one into icp should give it a go i think you will like it.
been a while.......2007-03-15
it's been a while since i listened to the original shangri la album, but i still listen to hells pit. shangri la got a little cheesy over all, but i was happy when it first arrived that they finally completed their task of the 6 jokers cards.
that being said, these remix albums were a nice addition to the collection. although not all of the remixes are outstanding, neither were the originals so hearing a different version was nice. i think hell's pit got the better end of the stick on this one as well. i like the darker side and it just seemed that they tried to hard to be happy with wicked rhymes on shangri la. it really threw it off. first couple times around it was alright and i thought it good at the time, but they kind of got lame after a while. the remixes were just different
honestly, i would give each individual album 3 stars, but since they packaged them together, they get an extra one. that was probably the best thing they could have done. two full remix albums, about 95 minutes worth. even though some of the beats seem lazily thrown together, you can't really complain with this deal, as long as you feel the stuff ICP be rapping about. and if you don't then why you looking here? i'm pretty sure with the lack of response on this album that not many people know about it so only true juggalos really got their hands on it. just like the psychopathic rydas and dark lotus cds.
Wraith Remix Albums.......2007-02-28
To be perfectly honest with you, i do not like this album. I'm more of an old school ICP fan, so remixing new songs wasnt my cup of tea to begin with. The only song i cared for was the CPK's remix done by Mike E. Clark wich can also be found on the Forgotten Freshness 4 cd. This is not an album for old schoolers, but if youre a fan if ICP's later work than you will probably enjoy this.
REview.......2007-01-12
it was ok sum songs were decent not as good as the original but still a good album
The 6th Joker's Card: Reloaded.......2006-11-19
I thought this album was the best from ICP in awhile because it is complete musical re-engineering of almost every track from The Wraith: Shangri-La and Hell's Pit. Almost every song doesn't sound like the original, which shows just how far Psychopathic went to put this together. But, they didn't do it alone. They had the mixing talents from underground icons, such as the Kottonmouth Kings, The Wolfpac, The FILTHEE Immigrants, Monoxide of Twiztid, Mike E. Clark, Kuma, DJ Clay, and Fritz the Cat to remake the music. I love most of the tracks, some I find are not even close to as good as the originals, but still a strong 2-CD album worth buying for any Juggalo ninja out there that may even feel skeptical about this album. I love this album!!! Wicked Clownz will never die, and this album shows that they won't!!! Juggalo 4 life!!!
