I bought this CD when it first came out, 13 years ago. I remember being really excited about it at the time -- fish art, one word titles, blood, christ, christ's blood: I was ready to be rocked. I remember liking the gurgle in the singer's voice and the way he hissed "FEE-YASH!" in the title track.

Listening to the sound clips I'm reminded why this didn't stay in my CD player for very long. Even at 13 I could tell that an entire CD of songs in the same key, at the same tempo, with the same content, made for a boring listen. The last track is the best on the album, but that's not saying much.

I bought this TAPE about 8 years ago, and it is now worn completely out. Wish for Eden is a very aggressive Christian heavy metal band, grunting out their lyrics with a passion you can feel and relate to. You will like it.

Here is the first cd EVER to be released by Seattle's Tooth & Nail record label. You will notice (at least on the original release of this disc, that the number on the spine is 'TND001'). This is a great start for the label that now excels in hard-core/punk/metal music either directly or thru its subsidiary Solid-State Records. This is great heavy music, not metal, but early hard-core. For a trio, these guys have a massive sound-I was lucky enough to catch their last concert ever, and it was amazing. Lots of good grooves here-check it out. At such a low price this is a steal...

Never has there been a more appropriate use of feedback. The heaviness and syncopation of this albumn is awesome. It sets the standard for all Tooth and Nail releases. The sound is BIG and clean.
