I have to say that upon hearing amber asylum's spc it truly made me feel like i was a crazy and mad person and well maiby im ? I dont know...All i know is that as plays music that has such an over-wellmeen feeling its so hard not to make you feel like you belong with the nuts of this world. Please, make sure you buy this!

Unlike the first reviewer I DO like this CD. There's an overwhelming sense of loneliness throughout the whole album. This is indeed nothing like Songs Of Sex And Death. It's more like their 2nd album.

The main difference to the previous albums is that there's a 2nd vocalist. This struck me as strange the first time I heard it but all in all the songs sound great so why bother complaining.

There's a little more diversity than on the previous album here. Where Songs Of Sex And Death was one wave of pain this CD breaks up into 6 songs of loneliness and one rather nice cover from a classic Black Sabbath song.

Other than that I'd like to comment that if you're new to Amber Asylum you can expect mournfull violins and the best soprano voice ever and a whole lot of melancholy overall.

I've heard 3 albums by them so far(Debut album is on the way) and I've decided this: Kris Force is definately my favorite Violinist and Vocalist. There's something about her that sends chills up my spine.
