The Northstar 6000i is a highly intuitive, integrated network system offering boaters a one-stop shop for GPS plotter, sounder, radar and video capabilities. Designed for boats of all sizes, the 6000i family is available in 6.4, 8.4 or 10.4 inch sunlight-viewable displays. The system's small footprint, easy-to-use interface, intelligent networking and system expandability offers boaters the ultimate in reliability, flexibility and performance. Powered by Northstar's N2 technology, the 6000i adds a complete network to any boat. N2, an innovative method of communicating and sharing data over a network, ensures instantaneous information transfer between display heads. With a chart card inserted into a 6000i display head, detailed chart information is available on all 6000i display heads on the vessel. Users can also add waypoint and route information at any display and that data becomes available, in real time, on all other displays. As data is updated between units via Northstar's N2 network, the information is stored on each individual device for redundancy in the unlikely event of unit failure.
